Informative and Relevant!

This is a decent book for people like me. I don't particularly appreciate going to the gym because it is not convenient and practical for all I manage. I could spend the gym time doing other things while I do the necessary exercise from my home's comfort. The author shares how working out can be a thing to look forward to. The workouts in the book can be altered to fit in with my daily activities. The book will help convenient work out with no gym equipment. The results out will help build my posture and strengthen my back and my general balance.

Gyms are closed - NO problem!

This book came just at the perfect time- national lockdown! With pounds of weight accumulating, no extra money to buy expensive weights, the book offers a perfect solution. It is written crystal clear that it gives you the confidence that you are executing the correct form. Thank you A.G. Scott for producing this piece! Big thumbs up!👍👍👍

This book saved my body

With covid shutting down my gym I found my body getting sore again from not exercising. I also started traveling to Mexico to get out of the snow. This book completely upped my workout game. I am gaining muscle without a gym. I actually prefer using these workouts over my gym. Nowadays I just go to the beach, bust out this audiobook and over time I am getting incredible results. My pecks and biceps are growing and I am getting more looks from women when I walk around. This book is a must for anyone who doesn't have access to a gym. Do yourself a favor and check it out!

A nice break from the same old Youtube videos

Working out at home has been a challenge. There is only so many times I can watch Joe Wicks, so I needed something new. I liked that this book had a selection of workouts, including ones which worked for me in my small flat with minimal equipment. To top it off there were more tips on diet and overall lifestyle planning, which was a nice addition.

So Simple, So Effective – even for little old me

As an older lady I am not unfit but I did want to start exercising more to strengthen my bones and muscles. I do not want osteoporosis or diabetes knocking on my door anytime soon. I am not comfortable going to a gym – too many younger, fitter people who know how to use the machines which can baffle some of us. I came across this home workout audio book and I felt it would be perfect for me and I have not been disappointed.

A little voice in my ear, telling me how to do the exercises properly without risk of injury and assuring me that it’s okay to start off gently. I started by doing the warm ups and cool downs only – just to check I was okay with that. Then I started following the full body routine plans, doing the easiest form of each exercise as best I could but only for 30 seconds and only doing one round of each exercise. I’m happy carrying on like this, improving gradually, and I have already noticed that I am getting stronger. I am not perfect at all of the exercises (yet) but I do what I can and I am definitely improving. High Five for me. I’m excited to see just how far I can go.

The pdf of the exercise diagrams is great. I can look at these while listening to the audio and I know I am doing the exercises properly. I use water bottles for weights, a table for pull ups and a chair for tricep dips – no expensive equipment required. It’s also nice to have the anatomy diagrams to see which muscles I am working.

I signed up for the Free Gift and received 4 more weeks of exercises. My weekly routine is now varied and interesting, and I can see I am getting better from checking the Progress Charts which I complete after each workout. High Five again.

Overall, I think this is a well written and informative book / audio book for anyone of any fitness level, as exercises are progressive. It’s full of very useful information, described in a simple to understand way and I feel the author genuinely knows what he is talking about; a medical student who is studying the human body, knows how it works and how to keep it fit and healthy. Oh, and the narrator has a very nice voice too; one that you can easily listen to and understand. It’s a Win/Win from me. Highly recommended.

Excellent for new and experienced

This book has perfect pacing and excellent diagrams!

I recently moved away from my apartment with a gym. I was really worried about continuing to make gains, especially because I don't want to pay for a gym membership. (Call me cheap!)

I'd been doing some bodyweight exercises on my own at home, but I wasn't really feeling the burn. I wasn't really pushing myself. And I could feel myself getting fatter (and see it. lol)

This book completely turned that around for me. I love it! I feel like I've had a really good workout after I'm done. I can't wait to see what this does for me over the next year. :)
