About this listen
The fitness industry tries very hard to gloss over the less glamorous parts of achieving a healthier body and a happier life. It seems like everybody else already knows what to eat or how to use heavy weights and complicated machines.
But the truth is, every person's fitness journey is unique. What really matters is identifying what works for you and understanding why it works.
In What Are You Weighting For?, here is just a fraction of what you will discover:
- The five biggest benefits of weight training for women that celebrity trainers don't want you to know
- Key differences between cardio and weightlifting and how understanding them will revolutionize your exercise regimen
- How you can sculpt and target specific muscle groups without needing to hire a fitness instructor
- What to eat before and after weight training sessions to boost your metabolism and tone your muscles
- How to overcome stress or anxiety at the gym, whether you're a fitness newbie or only worked out at home
- The three essential macronutrients at work in your diet - yes, carbs are essential - and ways to incorporate them into your meals
- Tips for creating a meal plan you can actually stick to, with a seven-day guided meal plan
- And much more
For many people, weight training conjures up images of bodybuilders and gym rats who devote their lives to working out. But more and more people are finding that strength training puts them on the fast track to feeling better physically and mentally, without bulking up.
It may feel like there isn't even a minute to spare in your busy schedule - and certainly not hours to get a new routine started - but that certainly shouldn’t stop you from improving your quality of life.
This is your chance to recognize that your health isn't something to put aside for a free moment. It's an investment in your happiness and your future. Once you make the decision to prioritize yourself, you'll find it much easier to make the choices that truly help you.

Gave to my girlfriend as a gift she love it
This was such a relatable and helpful listen, I personally didn’t listen to this audiobook I got it for my girlfriend whos trying to get into the fitness world, and from what she said she absolutely loved it. Her words… ‘I normally get worked up and anxious about the gym and just the thought of going makes me feel uncomfortable like haha what would I even do there, but with the help of this audiobook through the step by step guide and fun listen I felt engaged and actually learned a tone, I feel so much more able and capable once im at the gym with the practical method with the author outline in this audiobook’ I can say the boy friend now speaking’ ahah I can see just how my girlfriend has changed in terms of her mindset and attitude to the gym she now walks in with a confidence and swagger, shes committed to working out regularly and is also maintaining healthy habits outside of the gym! 10/10 from both me and her.

Great beginner’s guide.
I found this audiobook to be a very informative weight training guide. It covers how to boost your metabolism while toning your muscles leading to a better self-image. This particular guide outlines more than just weight training routines. It does a good job of discussing how healthy eating plays an important role in one’s overall fitness.

Great book!
I've been out of working out for a while now and will be starting up again once I've given birth to my daughter. I've really missed it, and this book has helped me get back into the mindset. I'm so close to being able to again, and this is exactly what I needed!

This book is exactly what I needed to kickstart my year. Especially now, where most gyms are closed it gave me great tips and strategies on how to execute my weight training in my workouts. I also loved the fact that it talks about the right nutrition and mindset to reach those goals! I have no hesitation in recommending this book !!

Excellent intro to training for women
As a trainer myself (a male one at that), I'm constantly looking for ways to encourage and motivate my female clients on implementing more and more weight training into their workouts without fearing "becoming too manly." This book does a great job of highlighting the mental aspect along with the physical.

Quality workout advice for women
This book dispels many of the common myths surrounding women in the gym. No, you won't get giant bodybuilder muscles just by doing some squats or start looking manly after lifting an 8KG dumbbell. I liked that the book also focused on the holistic aspects of overall health as well.

Body and mindset
My girlfriend listened to it, and she felt so pumped up!
For her, It was really challenging to go to the gym and share the exercise room and time with other people, but I think she is quite confident now, and she will first start with doing some workouts at home ad after a bit, she will try to go to the gym.
Amazing tips are included into this audiobook.
Great! Thanks!
