a good read!

It's a very helpful handbook for women at any age who want to improve their strength and physics in general. It starts with introducing ten adaptations of exercise. Not just going to gym is an exercise. Physical trainings come in different shapes and forms. Women in particular could use many different adaptations in every daily life to improve overall strength level. The book also introduces different ways to different body parts.

Incredible Resource!

Great for Any Age!

I've always been a cardio girl, but this book made me want to start strength training! I didn't realize how much it affects bone health, which is so important as we age. A very informative Book!

This book is very informative book for me since I always have a problem with obesity and tried many diets and exercises but gain back all the weight back. This book shows how to adapt exercises that are easy and healthy to stay fit at any age. Great for my mom

I've been spending some lost time with parents as I haven't seen them in the last few years and work remote so can pretty much work from anywhere. My mother was a nurse and suffers from a lot of pain related to the cruelling physical nature of the job. She wasn't doing much exercise and I was worried that her condition would only get worse if she didn't start moving but didn't want to put too much strain on her. This audiobook was perfect for helping me make a program for her, for me I had to stick to the basic senor program as I didn't want her push too hard. A mixture of stretching and some of the lighter exercises has definitely been a great start hopefully we can start transition to some of the more intensive exercises.

Strength till 80+

This audiobook bursts a number of myths with regards to strength and muscles and more so individuals are clear with their objectives when doing strength training. It provides over 10 different exercise types to help you train for strength. But what I like the most is that the approach gives you confidence and reassurance that you can move in different ways and stretch in different directions and still be strong past 80. How impressive. Bring it on.

Great book - made understanding the why so clear

I really appreciated the background to why I should strength train - and I had never thought of bone health. This book gives great insight into how our body works including the musculoskeletal system and our muscles. It helped me a lot to understand the science behind it all. It was also really useful to get an idea of it all by age and gender including menopause and beyond. When it comes to the exercises, it cleverly focus’ on 10 key things that is can deliver for you - making it so easy to grasp and get started especially in which order to do things. It had me hooked from the very early chapters, and, until now, have avoided strength training. Now starting a class in 3 days time and already started the exercises! A very good book that will help almost anyone of any age. Great narration too!
