what the hell happened??

I loved the other books.. I couldn't wait for this book to come out but you have literally to all your books from urban fantasy romance.. to erotica.. you ve took all your series to the same place. All of them.... Why?? a little is great but ....no....

Too much erotica.

With such a good series with Magical brings, the sexuality between the two main characters is for me too much. Did not enjoy this book as much of the others in this series. Hope the next book has a better balance

K.F. Breene (The Queen) has done it Again!!!

I'm not sure how she does it but The Queen topped herself again. Do you like to laugh? Do you enjoy sarcasm? Do you have a pulse? If so, step right up and join the crazy that is Ivy House. This is a book series that will have you truly laughing out loud in a quiet room. Do you enjoy uncontrollable laughter while waiting in the line at the DMV? Well this is the book series for you!! I am now an avid reader of this author but this book series is what brought me to her and believe me when I say this, it is well worth your credit and your time. Nicole Poole does an AMAZING job with narration. Again, I follow her now because of this series. I swear sometimes I hear her voice doing Edgar at the grocery store. 😆 To say she embodies this book series would be an understatement. A huge thank you to K.F. Breene and Nicole Poole for bringing this series to life. I will eagerly await the next installment and pray it doesn't end for a very long while. Can you keep this going for another 25 books? 🤪❤❤❤❤❤

Great narration!!

I’m always amazed by how talented Nicole Poole is. She truly breathed life into all of these characters. Each character has a unique voice and it was such a phenomenal listen.

This author constantly amazes me!

This entire series has been awesome and I can’t wait for the next (final?) book. I’ve never not enjoyed a book or series that is written by K.F. Breene! And I think that Nicole Poole is my all time favorite female narrator. The number and consistency of all the different character voices will knock your socks off. I am certain I would love any book written and narrated by this “team”!

Complex & Hilarious World of the Basajunak

The complexity of the world continues to build; though Breene gives a pretty simplified plot the reader should expect to follow in the next adventure of the Ivy House crew. It amazes me how she’s still able to introduce more characters though there is already an extensive cast on the Ivy House crew. Buckle up though, this installment features the Basajouns (finally!!). Breene doesn’t make their territory or dwellings elaborate though. She beautifully simplifies both while adding little nuances here and there that draw your attention and make you think yes, that could totally work. Ivy house remains cheeky throwing wrenches into the mix, the team faces insurmountable odds yet grow in their teamwork and powers, while bickering nonsensically the entire time.

I loved seeing Jessie’s transformation in embracing the inner darkness of her gargoyle just when you thought she was already a powerhouse (though still inexperienced). There’s a lot of dialogue and planning in this book which is necessary yet distracted me a bit, though it goes to show how much I trust the author when I tune out on the details knowing she’ll handle everything in the end. The way she sets up this book for the NEXT one though is awesome and I CANNOT wait to meet Ulrich’s mom and how meeting the gargoyle cairns will go. I’m sure it’ll be a wild and crazy ride as always.

Another awesome book from my favorite series

This is my favorite series from K.F. Breene though many others by her follow close behind. Strong character building from one story to the next and dialog that has me regularly laughing out loud no matter where I am at. Nicole Poole’s narration is the icing on the cake. This latest book has many of the unique (putting it mildly) characters coming into their own individually as the crew grows stronger overall and they prepare to meet this latest challenge. Life lessons from a mage, a pooka, a vampire, a gargoyle and a basajaun-it’s what we all need.

Always Waiting for the Next Book

Love how there is humor, a creative story line and awesome narration!! I greatly appreciate, that the books stay upbeat and have a can-do attitude. I am always looking forward to the next book!

Exciting addition to the series

Magical Midlife Challenge is book 6 in the Leveling Up series. I enjoyed every minute of this book. It was full of action and excitement. This book furthered the overall storyline for the series. We really get to see Jessie coming into her own and becoming a powerful leader alongside Austin. I also really loved that Edgar got to shine in this book and show his worth as more than just the super old, kooky, vampire. I am looking forward to book 7. I wish I didn’t have to wait, but thankfully it looks like it will release in a month or so. The narration was good as always. It is the same narrator for the full series.
