Summary

Can’t wait for the next instalment!
Loved this new start to a new series. I’d never heard the story of the Norse God Loki so this story which I understand pulls on some of the folklore of the Norse Gods was a new and exciting tale.
Love Cin and her smart mouthed cat. This book has a simmering dangerousness about it - all wrapped up with the sarcastic word play that I’ve come to love from Shannon. More please (and be quick about it!).

Loved this!
What an enjoyable start to a fabulous new series. Loved the characters and was quickly drawn into the story. Event he side characters are well developed. Sassy, funny and a slow burn romance, what more can you want, except the next book

It's a good start to what I hope will become a great tail, it has some unusual twists in it, which I'm hoping will help make it stand out rather than be to far fetched. Fiat time I've listen to Any Landon, her voice is pleasing to the ear and her character definition was excellent. Looking forward to hearing more from her.

This has a fantastic, found family storyline. A traumatic past sets our main character out alone, barely alive, thanks to her brother's, with their Alpha Wolf Mothers blessing!😡
Ten years later one brother happens to stumble across her alive, she sees him off but knows she has to run again!😔 Stumbling into ever more trouble than she deserves, in part, thanks to her vile Mum, and maybe partly down to a new matebond forming?😱 Its a shame she's been cursed into the body of a Golden Retriever rather than her wolf!🤦🐺
This book has some dark moments but hilarity too. The contrast is a delight to both read and listen too!😂
The voice actor did a great job.🎧😍 I was really impressed with her scope of voices.👋 I can't wait for Glitter.✨

Great new series
When a wolf gets cursed due to her mothers misdemeanours then ends up in the pound only her mate can save her from her brothers and the pack …
Or maybe he’s not the good guy, maybe she has to save herself or maybe she even further up sh** creek

if you have enjoyed shannon mayer 's books
I think your going to like this new one .... I love the forty proof series inparticular and am happy to start on a new adventure with a female shifter .. at the centre and a big hunky norseman and other supporting supernatural creatures ..... however if you are embarking on this adventure now (Jan 2023) the next books release date is July... and there is a real teaser of an ending ..... how cruel to make us weight half a year. ..... like her other books I will be replaying this one many times before the next is released.

An amazing start to a new series!!!!
I've always said that "dysfunctional family" is redundant. Every family is messed up in some way, so just say "family", we get that somewhere there's weirdness happening. But, Shannon Mayer has taken it to the truly "dysfunctional" in this interesting, entertaining and enthralling new story. The characters are so real, you want to be friends with some of them, and you want to just smack some others. As a listener, you get so involved in the emotional outcome to this story. This is such a great adventure, there's excitement, a hunky love interest, twists and surprises that keep the listener guessing, snark a plenty, all with fabulous and loveable sidekicks. The narrator does a great job of distinguishing between charachters, that you always know who is speaking. I'm really looking forward to the next book, can't wait!

A Wild Ride
This was a fast paced story with many twists and turns. Cin and Bebe were great! I love their friendship. I can't wait for the next book. Amy Landon is a great narrator.

A Unique Take on Urban Fantasy
What a unique take on Urban Fantasy. I thoroughly enjoyed Shannon’s world building and all the twists and turn that Cyn has had to take to survive her family and her curse as a golden… what do you say? You’ll have to listen to this audiobook to find out. The narration is excellent!
