Way too long
Too long for a book and too long for a series. I was expecting this to be the last one and half way throughout reading found out there will be another one. It’s a great world and I love the characters but it’s the way the authors are dragging this series and especially this book, easily could had 500 pages less,

Amazing as Always
Always love myself a Peckham-Valenti-Bordeaux sandwich, and this offering was no different! Characters brought to life expertly to tell the fantastic story dreamed up for us.

loved it
I loved this book. This has been a fantastic series and I was so pleased when this was released. I enjoyed the different characters that were added, and as usual the narration was fantastic. The only issue is now I have to wait for book 9 😒

Amazingly narrated
I cannot describe how much I love this audiobook. Pure win ♥️ I need more! This is the first time I listened to a book by the sisters and the narrators did an amazing job ♥️ Loved every minute, even the less liked characters. Simply amazing job ♥️

Shame it wasn’t dual narration.
This book was so bloody long it took me ages. Loads of filling with nonsense that was unnecessary.
Was not keen on the different voices. It would have flowed better if it had dual narration, so that the female did the female voices and the male did the male voices. I wasn’t keen on the different voices, the narrators used. I felt the Seth sounded like a total douche bag and I don’t think he is at all, and Max sounded really aggressive and again I think that changed my perception of his character. The female narrator made everything sound really repetitive and monotonous and droning, but that could’ve just have been the writing. The drama was good, but the book is far too long and to be honest I have literally no interest in chapters from Lionel or Vard’s point of view.
That being said, I appreciated so much that the audiobook came out so soon after the book was released as previously, I have read the book before the audiobook came out. It makes it easier for me to get through it as I rarely have time to sit and read, and it means that I can listen in the car and doing other things.

Horrendous
Really I wouldn’t bother with this book it’s an absolute farce. It seems to be just an excuse for the authors to eeek out the story just for the sake of it without adding any value to the story.
Too many different POV’s of minor characters which I didn’t care about. Book was loooooong and could have been told in 7 hours.
Stop, just stop ✋🏼

I’m a little disappointed
I’m a little disappointed, I have been so hooked on this series, but damn there’s a lot of filler. I will see it through to the end in book nine but damn the only way I could get through this was at 2x speed. My fiancé laughed at me because he couldn’t make out a word they were saying. The narrators were outstanding as always though!!!

This book healed my soul!!
All the heart break and tears through books 1-7 especially book 4 were worth it. My heart is so healed after reading this book. I am so exited for the final book to come out! I love Tory, and her determination! #lamelionelcansuckit #overgrownlizard

Such a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT
I can’t even finish this stupid series. It’s absolutely ridiculous how the authors continue to drag out the same tired story through the last two books. The constant struggle for all the characters is just exhausting. I won’t be wasting anymore time with either of these authors!

Enjoyable but not Amazing
*may contain spoilers*
I initially started this series and was massively underwhelmed by the first book. But I kept going only to be sucked into this amazing world created by these insanely talented authors. I feel like I know these characters and I’ve gone through all these tribulations and laughs and cries as a member of the A.S.S. I have watched each character grow and evolve and I have enjoyed every moment of it. I had such high hopes for this book and while I enjoyed it, it was just a lot of filler. No real character growth. I love Gerry, but I’m a bit bored of her mentions of petunias and slimy salamanders. I ship Caleb and Seth but the whole hook up and deny feelings for one another events that happened every six chapters or so was annoying. I wanted way more Darius. I wanted way more BlueLance. I wanted things to actually progress. But they didn’t. And now we have Clyde. Like wth. Why? We didn’t need Clyde. I just hope the next book will truly wrap up everything and give Tory and Darcy the HEA they deserve.

Will this ever end?
I started reading this series and made it to book 7 then said to myself, no more. But when book 8 came out as an audiobook I said I would listen to the last book just because I’d like to find out the ending. However, it isn’t the last book and I don’t think I’ll have it in me to listen to the last one whenever it comes out. The whining of the characters has gotten worse or maybe I had just forgotten. The story is interesting but the character’s complaining and “whoa is me” stuff just makes my head hurt. I try to finish series when I can but this one I won’t.

Never ending…
I enjoy this series, I really do… but wow this was a girthy audiobook. I think it could have been cut down. I appreciate wanting to give all of the characters the perfect send off, but I do believe there was unnecessary fluff that could have been cut in order to make it 1 book, and not extend to 9 in the series. Will I listen to book 9? Absolutely. But 8 was an exhaustingly long book lol
Jake & Bridget did a great job. I noticed a couple editing errors, but nothing that majorly detracts from the experience. They got handed a massive job with this, with a LOT of characters to voice. They did a great job. I would like to be able to differentiate some of the male characters a little more easily, because I found myself confused about which character was narrating a few times when I stopped mid-chapter and then picked the book back up.

Not finished
This is not a finish series (yet, 3/20/23) I am so upset, because I never start a series without knowing that it is finished, I hate waiting on the brink till the next book is written, I have made that mistake and am still waiting to get ones finished that may never. We were all told book 8 was the end of the series, but it it is not, there is a book 9. so now I am left waiting without a release date... Again

ZERO HAPPINESS
I knew there was a reason I didn’t have Book 8 on my wish list. I had forgotten how NOTHING good happens in this book. You will endure HOURS of nonstop doom and gloom for a 2 minute sex scene. The victories you do get to experience will undoubtedly turn into a tragedy. It was EXHAUSTING. I am so done with this series.
