Summary
What do you do when the guy you’ve loved since you were 14 is sent to the most dangerous prison in Solaria for saving your life?
Okay, so maybe he doesn’t love me back. And maybe getting sent down would seem insane to some, but I’m Rosalie Oscura, champion underground cage-fighter and alpha werewolf from the infamous Oscura Clan. My family wrote the book on criminal organizations, and I’ll be ruling this place by the time the next moon rises.
Then I just need to get to work on busting us the hell out of here. "Us" being me, the lion-shifter I’ve loved for 10 long years, and the most notorious criminal in here—a sinful incubus who’s been condemned to isolation for committing an unspeakable crime.
What’s the worst that could happen? I mean, short of being rejected by my mate, the black-hearted werewolf who rules over my sworn enemies, or getting myself noticed by the sinister vampire guard who has a dark vendetta against me. But how likely is that?
The trouble is, I need the help of those four alpha males to get out of here. And they happen to hate each other almost as much as they hate me.
But I always did love a challenge. And I never did learn when to back down.
So how hard could it be to make them accept me as their leader?

Oh oh oh book 1
What a fantastic start to this PNR series, I just love the way Caroline and Susanne write, it keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout the book. The spicy level is awesome!
Love listening to Bridget and jakes voices, they always bring the character alive and you wanting more!
Can wait to listen to book2

Jaw droppingly brilliant!
Firstly, it has to be mentioned that Jake and Bridget the audio narrators have done such an amazing job as I found a new love for this series. Caged Wolf is exactly as the title suggests, Rosalie Oscura a wolf-shifter has been cgaed within Darkmore Penitentianary, the fae prison for the most ruthless criminals. Only the strongest of fae survive their time there and Rosalie Oscura shows everyone she is no one to be messed with!
Rosalie Oscura may just be my favourite FMC of all time, sassy, seductive, fiesty and has an inner strength like no other. Her childhood has not be sunshine and roses but Rosa survived that she can survive Darkmore. Rosa is an Alpha in her own right and it will come as no surprise that only other alphas would be able to keep up with her. I loved seeing her run rings around these strong, alpha men who desire her, she has them wrapped around her little finger but as of yet most of them are unaware... or in denial. In fact, two of her mates wouldn't bat an eyelash is she turned up dead ... but that just increases the tension between them and Rosa.
Sin Wilder, another of Rosa possible mates, he is definitely infatuated with her but if you had been in solitary confinement as long as he had been you would be too, but she is special! Sin is absolutely insane, but through the little bits we see of him he's also incredibly implusive not thinking anything through.
Caged Wolf is full of action, lots of comedy and so much angst between Rosa and the dark troubled guard who doesn't realise he's caught in her web without a hope of getting free. Cain is my favourite of Rosalie's men the tension between them is practically scorching and it made me laugh at how unaware he is that she is running rings around him.
I have laughed, cried, had my heart racing for various close calls and Rosa's daring nature but that ending had me raging! I did not see that coming and even though there's a small part that understands what happened most of me is still angry that it did at all. I can't wait to start the next book and see where the sisters take the story.

Absolutely Amazing!
As always when the Twister's and the Bordeaux's combine, nothing short of epicness awaits. Another start to another incredible series by this epic combination.

amazing book and proformace
bridget and jake bordeaux ones again give the proformace of there lifes bring life to the pages from the amazing duo Caroline Peckham and Suzanne valenti this book is amazing with all the history from dark fae and zodiac academy I was gripped from the get go but this said you should try dark fae and zodiac academy in that order first to understand why this book is so good

Story is entertaining but the male narrator is really annoying
The male narrator is so overly theatrical it’s super annoying and it ruined all the main characters for me, he’s just really over the top, not to mention Ethan’s “British” accent he is trying to put on. Ethan didn’t have an accent in any of the Aurora Academy books so it would’ve been fine without. But even the other voices he makes it’s just ridiculous it doesn’t sound like an attractive man but more like some overly theatrical idiot on stage. It’s a shame. Female narrator is ok.

The twisted sister never disappoint 😂
This book was sooo good, I love being back in the solaria world, I read dark fae and ZA and the first book of caged wolf did not disappoint.
I really enjoy Rosalina and the way Bridget bring out her faeitalian (as an Italian myself) is entertaining.
Jake has different voices for the males character and in an audiobook I look for that when there are multiple people (an accent, way of speaking or just a different tone) as it can get a bit hard for me to keep track. Loved Ethan accent and the craziness that he bring out of Sin is soooooo funny 😂
Looking forward to keep listening and see where the story goes x.

Woof...what a book 1
This is the first and so far only not academy series in the world of Solaria and I enjoyed it a lot. The characters are compelling an unique and the voice actors make the story come to life in a thrilling way.

I was so ready for Rosalie's series and this book nailed it! It is captivating and I listened to these books so quickly. First series I've ever only listened too and I am hooked! cannot wait to finish this series it is so good.

I should have read this on kindle.
I’m going to stop listening to this one. I love the story so far so I’ll pick it back up on kindle but the male narrations are too intense, practically yelling the entire male segments. I can’t keep going with it.

This audiobook was so freaking good! I can't get over how amazing it was and how the authors brought this story to life! Huge shout out to Jake for his portrayal of Sin, I laughed so hard so many times thanks to it.
Darkmore Penitentiary series is the third of three series set in the Solaria world created by these absolutely amazing co-authors. You definitely don’t need to read the other two series, Ruthless Boys of the Zodiac & Zodiac Academy, but I highly recommend both of them.
In this book we see Rosa, who is one of the Alpha’s of the Oscura clan, get thrown into Darkmore for a job. She has to break someone out but nobody has ever escaped this notorious prison before. What can possibly go wrong?
There is so much going on in this book between the alpha of the rival gang being too sexy to resist, the lion shifter Rosa has been in love with since 14, the sinful incubus who might be a bit psycho & the correction officer who can’t stay away and se definitely doesn’t want him to.
I love this book just like the others in this world. This one has twists and turns & and ending that will leave you needing book 2 ASAP! Definitely a series to check out!

Love the books but not the narration
Kiera Stevens and Troy Duran from Ruthless Boys of the Zodiac series would have been MUCH better narrators than these two from the Zodiac Academy series. These two just don't do it for me, so I'll just be reading the rest of Darkmore Penitentiary instead of listening.

Amazing!!!
This was an amazing read. It will keep you on the edge of your seat 99% of the time and I loved it. I know the narrates start off a little intense but keep going you will see why, and it will get better.
I loved "Ruthless Boys of the Zodiac" series and this one has been superb so far. I will definitely be getting book 2.
All the main characters were perfect the Vampire (the guard), the Lion Alfa, the wolf Alfa (enemy?!?), Sin, and #12(Rosaline) but my favorite is Sin he is just crazy, funny but omg CRAZY and I love the way his part plays out.
If you read the Zodiac Boys series, it was one female and 4 males, this is just like that, each male character brings something different to the plate and wither they are bad or not so much you will love each one of them.
The story is very intrigues, Rosaline ends up in jail and she will need to escape but every time she gets close to a possible way out something unforeseen happens. The drama, action and steamy parts are just perfect. I wouldn't think so much could happen in jail!!!
But I think the part that most gets to me is the way Rosaline was able to get all these men to see her true value has a woman not just an Alfa. She is brave, strong and overall, a badass and I love everything about her.
Oh! so it won't catch you by surprise this as a cliffhanger ending!!

B.A. Lead and a perfect start for this series…
You’re not going to like the love interests at first, but Rosa is a BA female lead and I’m ready to roll right into Book 2 to see where this story goes. Don’t hesitate to download, spend that credit!

Great Story…Painful Narration!
This story was was really good. It was different from the normal books I have been listening to which was good. I thought the authors did a great job creating the story and the characters.
The narration unfortunately was painfully to listen to and was excessively over the top. I thought they sounded angry and hostile the entire book. I know the characters are criminals and in prison but it felt like they were just over the top and made the audio rather painful to listen to. I only stuck with it cause the story was so good. Excited to see what happens next.

Loved the story!
I couldn’t wait to listen to Rosalie’s story after listening to the Dark Fae chronicles, however, both narrators voices sucked. There was no emotion to their words, their voice in general just didn’t do it for me. It was the worst I’ve ever heard.. SORRY. Ugh let TROY DURAN voice it. Love TROY best voice ever.

Nice!!
This book got so good at the end! So makes me want to not sleep and keep on hearing more of the story! Jake and Bridget kick but bring all of these new characters to life! Bravo you too!
