Wow
Wasn't sure I could continue with this book at first, the first Alex Coombs I have read. The violence was very descriptive but I loved the main character, a very strong woman. Enjoyed the plot twists, guessed some but not others. Great book

2nd in the series and I’m hooked
I’m totally in love with the writer and the reader. 2nd book into the series and I’m hooked, hoping there will be many more. The reader is excellent…for a Scot listening to a book set in Scotland it’s superb, the pace is right.
The story twists are good. Hanlon for me is a fantastic main character…and no cliché. As a woman who’s worked in a mans world (construction) for 35 years, she’s everything I’d love to be and am not lol.
Another excellent novel by this writer and I’m just sad there’s only one more in the series ….so far.

twists and turns
well written , vivid characters. Superbly performed !
I like the lead character but she can be a bit thick .
Maybe that's mean , after all they can't all be Sherlock Holmes.

Leaves you wanting to read the next book…
Gritty and believable storyline, well written and narrated.
Strong female and male characters are developed as the book goes on and continue to be filled out over the course of the series.
Love the writing and am looking for the next in line…
