Enjoyable read.

Enjoyable listen from the beginning to end. The start was rather intense especially with the added addition of the adorable dog, I couldn't stop listening. The narrator was easy to listen too and the character changes were great.

Although I guessed the culprit early on I enjoyed the journey to the conclusion. Listened to a lot of audible books and rate the performance 5 stars

Good plot and good story

A good plot and location. I’ve read/listened to so many crime thrillers I’ve lost count .,for me it’s not just the crime it is the characters within it .
I need a character/s to like ,however a 5 foot 11 victim with a whining baby voice does not fit the bill, her sister was irritating & self-centred and self opinionated. Two other characters I could’ve easily grown to like but there wasn’t enough content of them in the story..
I never leave any negative comments as I prefer to say nothing at all if l feel unhappy but this time as it was such a good plot I feel this could be constructive criticism & would help the author (sounds arrogant but I’m not) as she writes extremely well.
Also I think the narrator needs to listen to herself back as it were , as she’s a bit dictatorial.

On the edge of my seat from the start to the end

This book was a real find. The characters were believable and I couldn't stop listening. The bonus was that the story didn't let me down at the end, as in some some other thrillers. This book was engaging to the last word. The reader was also excellent, totally changing her voice for all the different roles, which is very difficult when portraying two sisters. I will look for other books by this author on the strength of this one. I highly recommend it.

Good story much swearing!

Don’t get me wrong I don’t usually mind swearing but this contains noticeably more than any book I’ve listened to so far! I stuck with it because the storyline was ok but it’s made me wary of listening to more of this author as this maybe how she always writes?!

Good read

It was a bit slow half way through but nevertheless a good listen and had you thinking about it when you put it down. The narrator wasn’t my favourite.

Great plot

This book has me hooked from the start. Sadly half way through the book it became easy to predict who the villain was, I was waiting for a twist and to be wrong.

Good story but could have been made great with a bit more detail. Well narrated
