A good story but a bit patronising
This was a thrilling story but suggested that all women are frightened of men and walking alone at night a bit too much for me.

Brilliant story and narration
Brilliantly read and written book. The narration is some of the best I’ve heard and I finished it within 2 days. Captivating and thought provoking. Will definitely be reading some more of this author’s books

The best yet!
Absolutely gripping story from start to finish. I cried and I gasped and I ranted and raged. Characters I bonded with, characters I hated. Terrifying, thought provoking and deeply disturbing. Brilliant story telling and twists I did not see coming. Loved it.

Excellent!
A brilliant suspense story that had me glued until the very end. I love all Claire Allen books, but this is the best by far!
Excellent story with characters that had me brimming with emotions! Well worth listening to and a storyline that will stay with you after the final chapter. Brilliant
The performance for audible was brilliant, made me feel everything I heard! I was angry, I felt despair and I cried!!!

A captivating whirlwind tale.
WoW! This book takes you through the wringer. With twists and turns from the first to the last page, this breathtaking tale will have you quickly turning the pages for more. The first book this year that I couldn't put down and read in a day. A well-earnt five stars from me, thoroughly enjoyable.

Almost unbearable tension from start to finish
I’m not a regular reader/listener to psychological thrillers but the premise of the story had caught my attention so I decided to give this a go. My poor heart! I was so on edge throughout that I had to stop listening for a while to calm down.
I thought all three narrators were fantastic and they - together with the author’s skill at weaving a twisty tale - drew me in and didn’t let me go until the very end.
Highly recommended.
