Summary

The sex tape... The fish stew... The unspeakables... The storm... The font... The bathtub... The ice... The gun... The clothes... The humiliation... The shower... The letters..

The vow.

I had my chance to run from these brutal boys, and I didn’t take it. The bonds between us are too strong now. Bonds of blood, oaths, betrayal, and vengeance. And I intend to make good on all of them. I’ve made my list. And I won’t stop until each and every one of their crimes has been paid for.

Divide and conquer.

We’re going to tear them apart from the inside out. I won’t quit until I’ve had my pound of flesh and then some. These broken boys paint themselves up as kings and stand themselves on a pedestal above everybody else. But that only means they’ve got further to fall. And they’re going to fall hard.

I know their strength now, but I’ve learned their weaknesses, too. And I might just be becoming their greatest one. My father taught me how to survive, and it’s time to use everything I know about predators to lure them into my own trap.

Lies, betrayal, seduction.

I’ll use every weapon at my disposal to bring them to their knees, and once I’m done with them, they won’t own me.

I’ll own them.

This is book two in a dark romance series with love-hate themes, scenes of intense bullying, sexual scenes, and may have triggers for some listeners. It is a reverse harem, which means the main character will end up with multiple partners.

A dark high school bully romance

Also… yes!

This is the second book in the series and again doesn’t not disappoint. Yes there is bullying but you can tell it’s building to something epic! Well worth your time to listen. Jake and Bridget are fantastic in bringing the story to life.

Tatum is 🦑

This series just amped up and I’m so here for it! Tatum is striking back and she’s freaking awesome! 🦑 This book we definitely get more of a feel for the guys too with their POV’s and a bit more of their history which really makes them that much more relatable especially when you feel their growing connection to Tatum and the ‘punishments’ becoming much lessening as time goes by. I listened to this book and the narrators Bridget and Jake Bordeaux did an incredible job of making these characters seem unique (Jake made sure each guy sounded completely different!) and flowed so well.

Kings of Lockdown

This is the second book in the Brutal Boys of Everlake Prep series. Where do I even start? This book is amazing. The Night Keepers gain their fourth and final member. Tatum and the boys set rules for each other. They get to hand out punishments if and when the rules are broken. The lines might be starting to blur between Tatum and the Night Keepers. She is realizing that there is more to every side of the story. That ending though! I can’t wait to dive into the third book! Bridget and Jake Bordeaux are both absolutely phenomenal narrators.

Kings of a story

Book 2 in the series. The authors took an everyday life, that is happening all over the world and wrote a gripping reverse harem. There is a lot happening in this story. There is another male member added to the harem. The original male members got rid of the head master , they sectioned Nash Monroe , he also became the new member.
Nash Monroe was protecting Tatum from book 1 . Grab it and see how they both will react to the new events

Jake and Bridget Bordeaux was fantastic. Their voices are strong, very smooth. . They will draw you you right into the story. Love how you know which character was which by their tone

Riveting

The twists and turns in this book kept me listening . I love that Tatum still refuses to give in to the boys and had to laugh at her getting her own back.

Brilliant

This audio book was absolutely fantastic.
The characters are brilliant and the storyline is fantastic.I absolutely love Nash Monroe. He's the best, and I loved the moments and tension between him and Tatum. Both of them at the end was fantastic. Kyan and Blake are good in this book. We get to know them better. Saint is ok, although he takes things too far. It's great to see Tatum get her own back. I laughed at moments. 🦑. I shouted at the ending again, even after I knew what was going to happen after reading the book. This series is absolutely fantastic and I would definitely recommend it.

Not a single boring chapter

Amazing character development. I didn’t want to read this because of the name of the book (too soon ladies) but I am so glad I did.

love this book and series

thought that the first book was amazing.... then I started reading this one and all I can say is that my mind is blown away. Once I started reading it, I couldn't put it down.
This story will leave you breathless, gasping, begging and wanting more. You will not be able to stop reading once you start....from the dedication to the very last page. You will be on the edge of your seat. And the ending? Mind blowing and makes me wonder what these two ladies have in store for us next.
Even the Unspeakables have a story to tell that will leave you thinking about the Night Keepers a little bit differently.... and wondering if maybe they are our tribe after all.

Love this series; big cliff hangers though

Please add the last book to this series Audible! I may have to buy a paper back if not added soon. :(
I love Saint, he really grows on you throughout the series. These books have managed to keep my interest during every chapter. A perfect combination of hot belly clinching scenes and drama. Every book better then the last!

What the actual....

WOW! Just WOW! I am addicted to this series. Talk about about your mind getting blown. Caroline Peckham and Susanne Valenti wrote a masterpiece. There are so many emotions that come out with the MC in the book. I love that she is tough as nails and does not give up. She keeps on pushing through and I can respect that. The guys....whew! All have their own inner demons, but I know there is more to them then they lead on to. The narrators blew it out of the park. If you want a good series to binge on, then look no further friends! I also really respect the length of the books. The quickest 20 hours of my life! Keep up the fantastic work!!

Queens of the cliff hanger

it's a good thing book 3 is out already because I need to know what happens next. it's a slow build but we are finally to the action and I'm not talking the spices kind of action. These 2 authors really put together a slow burn here.

I have no word for how incredible this was!

Bridget’s rendition of Tatum was masterful. I’m not really one to cry at books but this had me shedding tears for her narration of the ending. I can’t get over how incredible Brooke and Jake were in this and recommend this series a thousand times over!

Yes yes yes and YES.

So much character growth and just a stunning family coming together over time. There are a lot of heartaches for Tatum and her tribe but it is sooo worth the wait. I just finished this series and the only
words I think could describe it was absolutely astonishing. A wonderful series and a MUST READ.
