Summary
Fate has torn us apart, and, sometimes, I believe the stars have given up on us altogether. Without my sister, the world seems darker than ever before, and the shadows loom thicker, rising up to answer the call of the Shadow Princess, and changing the face of Solaria for good.
Now, Lionel Acrux has the strength to make a move for the throne. I’m not sure how much time we have left to stop him. Our only hope is to find the Imperial Star before he does. We made the sacrifice the stars called for, and we’re paying the price for that decision - so it can’t be for nothing. But, with the stars turning against us at every move, and the last light in the world seeming to fade, I’m afraid we’re almost out of time. Hope is a dangerous thing. It’s the key to us fighting on. But it could be what destroys us in the end.
One thing is for certain, I won’t stop until I have been reunited with my other half, and together we will fight to take our crowns. A war is coming. The throne is calling for a new monarch. And someone must answer its call.

Overall ok
Story has major plot holes for anyone who can connect the dots but they are all based on character decisions so not story ending. Performance was irritating but listenable.

Excellent plot, narration and story pace!
Fated Throne is excellently written, the pace of the story is good, a mixture of light-heartened funny, fluffy moments and interspersed between the smutty, steamy scenes and the anxiety, adrenaline fueled, screaming rage filled scenes.
The authors begin this incredible story a few months after the torturous ending of Cursed Fates and it breaks my heart to see Darcy struggling so much without her Twin. Surprisingly, the Heirs are always nearby offering their support and strength especially Seth although as always he has his own agenda that is completely insanely infuriating and yet so incredibly hilarious at the same time. I feel we are now getting to see more of his inner self that he keeps hidden from the world.
As for Tory the stars just keep throwing more and more pain, turmoil and devastation her way completely obliterating any chance at an easy life. If it's not her star-crossed desperate pinning for Darius tormenting her with what she can't have, then it's Lionel and his forced guardian bond and the countless agonising torture sessions he inflicts upon her. But Tory digs deep and finds the inner strength to keep going, even when most people would have succumbed and given up she fights with every atom of her soul!
Orion has some serious making up to do and I enjoyed seeing her making Orion work for it. I enjoyed seeing Darcy annoyed and angry at him even though he had a good enough reason it's still infuriating but since he is power-shamed now I'd say he has paid his dues.
More love is in the air (or hints of it) Max and Geraldine are the strangest and wildest couple in the series and yet I need this relationship even more. I wish they could overcome the barriers thats keep them apart especially since they are on opposing sides politically because they are perfect for each other. Seth and Caleb are a couple I never anticipated but now there's been hints this is something I need as much as I need air to breathe!
As always special recommendation goes to the audio narrators Jake and Bridget their skill is evident as they tackle each character, putting their own unique spin on them and bringing these amazing characters to life! Fated Throne is the probably the darkest book in the series yet but with plenty of scenes that have you crying with laughter to balance it out. With each book we get closer to the end and I'm just not ready to say goodbye to these characters yet! Will the Vega's end up on the throne? Only the next book will tell! Hopefully?!

Frustrating but Fantastic
Fantastic as always but getting a little frustrated by how long the series is becoming, I was hoping that the story would be coming to an end by this book and having read the reviews of the next book 'heartless sky' and it being 30 hours long, it doesn't sound like there is much relief by the end of this book either.
I will be listening to them all the same but that sense of frustration is very annoying by this point.

Long as *uck
This book is too long and too wordy I skipped ahead so much. There is too much non relevant information and too many words used to describe thoughts and feelings and a lot of repeating! It needs serious editing I was bored in parts not because of the story line or characters, these are great but the amount of words used was frustrating and boring without getting to the point. The zaodic academy is a brilliant series and I highly recommend it but you will have to persevere through a lot of pointless worlds and prepare to have a lot of things replayed and repeated. I think it’s worth it for the story but the fact there is a 8th and 9th books is terrifying this series could have been wrapped up long ago and been more enjoyable!

Fated Throne
This is the sixth book in the Zodiac Academy series. This book started where book 5 left off. Lionel has forced Tori into a guardian bond. This book ends in an epic battle and everything is left up to the Stars. I can’t wait to start the next book! Bridget and Jake Bordeaux did an absolutely phenomenal job narrating this book.

Gahhh! The emotional roller coaster continues.
Gahhh!! The emotional roller coaster continues… admittedly, this hasn’t been my favourite book in the series so far but I’ve still enjoyed it immensely and I’m eager to start the next one.
I felt like some parts were too drawn out, and as much as I love Geraldine her PoV could’ve been toned down a little to make it more bearable- I had to switch to reading to get through her PoV 😅
The addition of the “spares” joining ZA though seemed to make the story drag.
Did I really want to read about Tyler and Sofia?, No, but did I want to read about Xavier, heck yeah!!
I’m completely smitten with Seth and Caleb.
Lionel Acrux is the freaking devil himself— I’ve never encountered a villain I loathe as much as I do him.
The balance of friendship, underlying tension, action and angst were perfect in this story.
So many high points in this story, reveals, and plot twists and that ending has me torn between wanting to run for the hills and diving straight into the next book.

just too much
I just can't do it I can't finish this series the first series that I read by Caroline and Suzanne I completely enjoyed the brutal boy of everLake Prep but that was the only serious I've been able to finish I believe this one has been drugged out too far evil wins over good every single time it seems all your favorite characters do is suffer suffer suffer and no end in sight No hope the shame is the series starts off good but you get about three 3 books in and it's nothing but suffering evil the plot thickens to the point where it's suffocating I would love to see a happy ending for my favorite characters but the authors have left no hope no end in sight for the suffering of the characters nothing but torture and evil rules all and at this point the whole series has just Fallen flat from me I love the narrator's though that's about the best I can give you all

Had to skip chapters and jump to the end.
I’m wondering if the authors are paid per word because this book was unnecessarily too long. I love the characters, I love the storyline but dislike the narrative!! I was so bored with the drawn out dramatic nonsense and the back and forth. It got really old and I started to hate the characters I love so dearly. I ended up skipping over pages and conversations!! Just like the Anita Blake series, a great storyline is ruined by long winded writers or poor editors.

I’m not okay lol
I couldn’t read this fast enough. Every ending in these books has left me in tears and I am truly ready to get to the happily ever after. The twists and turns in this serious has given me serious whiplash but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Now I’m going to go cuddle my cats and cry 🥲

Too much fluff
The main story of the Vega twins is normally great but this book felt very slow with far too much of the side characters. I’m all for learning about the others but not with the extent of their own hour long chapters. A bulk of the story, the action part, is always towards the end too. I will say this book did improve having more of the action scenes spread out but not nearly as much as it could. Overall 3/4 of the book was character building and plot outlining. Not horrible, but won’t re-read.

They just keep getting better
This series has a choral hold on me. One of the best I’ve read in awhile and the narration is so good. I can alway guess who’s chapter it will be before they say the name of the character based on the inflection and tone alone. The ending has me dying though. Listening to the next one immediately.

The sisters continue to battle their enemies as well as gain supporters. I am loving this series and very sad that I'm getting closer to the end. so much anticipation with the various relationships and how they're going to end up working out.

alright how much more misery and weakness
I mean the best part of this book is Geraldine and Seth. Darcy continues to prove she is weak, and just a waste of infinite power. Why can't they just be great already. please tell me the next one is the last one. I can't take anymore.

Great series!
Love this series! Also the Ruthless Boys of Aurora Academy. They go hand and hand. Just wish they had all the books on here!
