Stunning
What an epic adventure, so many twists and turns in this demon world, will Rowan survive long enough to accomplish her task? Or will the demons put a stop to it?
Such a stunning story, that is unlike any others. Can’t wait to see what comes next for Rowan and Orion.

Wow!
What a book I loved Rowan and her quirks and even though she was locked up in a prison awaiting death she still was funny. Orion has a blood vow to kill Mortana and all her family when he sees Rowan he’s convinced she is Mortana. Loved how the story progressed and left you wondering if she really is Mortana even when everything unfolded you are still not sure if she is or not.

Omg, This Book Has It All!😍🗝
The voice performance is excellent. It keeps you on the edge of your seat, along with the story. The world is conveyed beautifully as is the steam & hotness of the characters!🔥
My word the hurt & stress of finding out certain possibilities is heart wrenching. This was masterful, I can not wait for book #2.🌟

Surprisingly good
I wasn’t sure if this was going to be any good as I feel I’ve read the same story multiple times. However, I thought it was an easy listen and I enjoyed it but I have a feeling I have read it before. Is that because I have and forgotten or is it just because it’s like other books I’ve read. If you like fantasy romance with angst and you feel like an easy read his book is for you.

Not her best
I’ll be honest, I fell asleep about half way through when it felt like all the story involves is waiting for them to get it on. It’s a little smuttier than some of her other books (sucubi and all that) and when I woke up it didn’t feel like if missed much plot wise (not a great sign). It does pick up towards the end, but doesn’t feel like the story advances enough to justify being a separate book (a pet peeve of mine). I will try Book 2 to see if the two together feel like a full story, but overall it’s a little underwhelming. The narration is good

I can't seem to like this one
I'm on chapter 9 in audible and the story so far has dragged I was expecting something spellbinding enthralling from all the 5star reviews I though finally a good audible story to get into. Sadly it was just meh. The idea for the plot had a lot of potential but it was just missing everything for me. The narrator was good as the female lead but as soon as she did the male voice it threw me out of context with any plot I was trying to follow. The British accent sounded pretty bad. Won't bother finishing thanks again audible for another boring romance.

Addicting listen!!
OMG!!
Read/listen to this book!! It is absolutely phenomenal!! I loved it. The narrator is phenomenal!! Amanda Leigh Cobb is one of my favorite narrators and she truly breathed life into these characters and elevated the story for me. It was truly a addicting, and enthralling book. I absolutely love Rowan and Orion.
This book certainly has all of the elements that I love. A bit of mystery to hook its teeth in you, angst, romance, and paranormal. Trust me, you want to get it!!

Absolutely AMAZING!!!
You must listen to this book!! I read it & totally feel in love but then I listened to it, & feel in love even more! Holy cow, I didn’t think that was possible. Amanda Cobb transports you into this story. Her voice is is one of my favorites now! I cannot wait to see/hear what happens next!

MUST LISTEN TO/READ!!!!
I took a chance on a new series after ACOTAR & BAA and I am so glad I did! Great story overall, and the narrator is hands down one of the best on this app. The storyline is fantastic, and the depth of the characters revealed throughout is ::muah:: — chef’s kiss. The romance is believable and nearly tangible without being over the top. I am going off the C.N. Crawford deep end and getting all the books!

Had potential but hard pass
I should have known this book wasn't for me so maybe this one's my fault. I was hoping for more adventure and storytelling than romance and smut. The story had potential but I was disappointed that the majority of the book was all sex and no story. If I could have returned this book I 💯 would have.

What Next?!
I love when a book has an unexpected plot twist. Often, since I read so much, I see so many trends and patterns that books tend to blur together. city of Thorns has the type of fairytale universe you can fall in love with, a heroine that isn’t quite a hero, and a rogue male that could take your breath away! Enjoy!

Someone said if you like the night court scenes in ACOTAR you'll like this and you know.... I think they're right.
Was this book predictable? Yup
But I was still entertained and completely devoured this book.
Also I hate when there are "riddles / rhymes " because it's so obvious ( usually ) and this chick is in college and kind of a nerd and she doesn't pick it up? 🤦🏼♀️

Great Book/Narration
Great story it had me the start. I love Orion and Rowan. I can wait for the next book, to see what other secrets are uncovered. I highly recommend any to read this book and/or get audiobook.

Good story
I really like C. N. Crawford’s writing style and feel that she mixes the dark and light sides of our personalities into her character’s beautifully. Loved listening to this book!
