umm!

well I liked it but it is the same story over and over again. I wish the FMC had more of a back bone. if you want all the boys then just say it.

So I am honestly not sure how I am doing after that ending. I thought the ending that Dead Man’s Isle was bad, I am definitely more upset by this one. I need to know what happens next!

This book will make you laugh & cry & I was without a doubt yelling at your kindle at the end due to the idiotic choices of one character. Seriously? What? Why? We also got to see some of my favorites from the Brutal Boys series & I loved those moments.

This is another amazing book by these authors & I cannot wait for the next one!

Also, Bridget & Jake Bordeaux's performance for this audiobook is so good. These two do such a phenomenal job of bring the characters & story to life. I love everything about this audiobook! Jake has such an amazing voice for Shawn, it is exactly how I expected him to sound.

Too much angst not enough progress

These are my absolute FAVORITE authors. Never given under a 5 star until now. The book had too much internal angst without much progress with the relationships or story moving forward. Bummer.

disappointment

I love the narrator's and I enjoyed some of the romance scene but I really can't handle the storyline of this series any longer I feel like the negativity of the storyline has become too much for me personally when I read or listen to a novel I have to see some kind of light at the end of the tunnel some sort of possibility of a happy ending but with this particular series it goes from bad to worse in my viewpoint because there's no light at the end of the tunnel that I can see for the characters I enjoy drama I enjoy intrigued but with this particular series it feels like the negativity of it overpowers everything else I guess I just prefer more balance between the negative and the positive and this novel Didn't Do It For Me

Takes the plot in New, intriguing directions

I will never get over how great the narration is for this seres. Literally like listening to a movie, the acting is so good.

Really liked the development of the characters and the plot has really gone in a fast paced, intriguing direction.

The end of this one hurt me the most, but I loved it. Eager to jump into the next one, Paradise Lagoon.

Such a letdown

I'm so disappointed. I liked the heroine and most of the characters in the previous books in this series. Now she's just annoying and another main character is an idiot. I'm no longer invested in the story.

The series stops here for me

I've loved other series from these authors. I especially love the narrators but even they couldn't help. I really tried to give it a chance since I was so invested with the previous books. The story just drags and I get all of them are broken one way or another but the FMC just annoyed me, Fox annoyed me. The others are, well, just there adding to the annoyance, especially the ending, c'mon! No communication between the characters which lead to way to many misunderstandings which then lead to the relationship being torn apart. I just couldn't, I wish I could better explain but don't want to give too much away to those that enjoy the torture of this series. I'm done, good luck!

f***ing shawn is the f***ing worst

jake's portrayal of shawn makes me hate him so much more. he's sleazy and i feel gross listening to him which is an A+ narration in my opinion. the story develops more into rogue's relationship with the harlequin boys and i can feel how much they mean to each other through the audiobook. there is so much hurt at the end of this book i was simply a puddle when i finished.

It doesn’t make sense

I like this series for the most part, but Rogue’s decision at the end makes no sense. POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT: I get why she made the overall decision (although that just emphasizes her whiny victim mentality), but the way she did it actually accomplished what she wanted to avoid in a much more brutal and devastating way. It’s completely illogical, but no one cares about logic anymore anyway, so I’m probably spinning my wheels here.

Regarding the series thus far- I somewhat agree with the reviewer who hates Fox. I don’t hate him, but honestly, he’s pretty stupid and lacks appeal at this point. I suspect he’s the counterpart to Saint in another series, but in that series, there was always sexual tension between Saint and the MC that made her attraction to him understandable. Here, the few scenes between Rogue and Fox don’t accomplish that.

Finally, Rogue is supposed to be tough and strong, but too often she acts like a perpetual victim who whines about things she should’ve gotten over as soon as she found out the boys’ stories. Okay, so they were mean when they told you to leave, and you had a tough life, but you’re still alive and worse things happened to some of them so suck it up and move on!

Not my favorite series from these lovely authors but I’m still going to get the next book, so I clearly enjoy it more than it annoys me :)

Amazing

This book was amazing and so heartbreaking!! I can not believe the last several chapter's. I am starting book 4 immediately... who needs sleep anyway. I am very happy that book 5 will be out this month because I don't think I can live with another cliff hanger for months! I absolutely love the narrator's for this series! They really do bring this book to life and do it amazing justice ❤️
