Summary

This is a retelling of book one of Zodiac Academy from the perspective of Orion, Darius, Caleb, Seth, and Max.

The Vega twins are alive.

Those five words circle in my mind like an oncoming storm. They change everything about the future we thought had been set in stone. They challenge everything we were raised to be and the stability of the entire kingdom.

They’re coming to our academy looking for the life that was stolen from them, but we can’t let them take it back.

So much hangs in the balance and we can’t risk the arrival of two naïve princesses destroying everything we worked so hard for.

I have trained in dark magic, overcome all challenges, and stood in the shadow of Lionel Acrux for far too long already. I won’t let them come between me and his downfall.

Which means they have to go before they discover how powerful they truly are.

This is a retelling of the first book in the Zodiac Academy series from the point of view of Orion and the Heirs and should be listened to after you have finished the original story. It includes scenes from alternative points of view, as well as over 50k words of additional content and scenes which have never before been revealed. So prepare to step into the dark minds of the Zodiac boys and watch out for the heartbreak and carnage that will ensue.

Fantastic alternative perspective

I absolutely loved this perspective on the story, an alternative and fantastic start to a brilliant and dark paranormal academy series. Every aspect was excellent, the individuality and uniqueness of each of the characters personalities that blended with amazingly strong chemistry, the suspense, mystery, secrets, sub plots. A gripping fast paced sizzling action packed storyline giving further insight into the start of this series from the boys point of views. The story and characters especially were brought to life by the narrator, with narration helping portray the events from the multiple male POV of the story, it is easy to differentiate the characters from the way the narrator infuses each individual characters personality into the narrative and their speech.

Love this series.

Thoroughly enjoyed this look into the the minds and demons of the heirs. Hope we don’t have to wait too long for the next Audible book in the series.

Love reading about the way the men thought after reading all 7 books. It helps a lot to see they way thought.

This series is crack

First and for most anything narrated by Jake Bordeaux is absolute gold. Hands down one of my top favorite narrators to bring a story to life.

To get the boys POV definitely gives you a better look into their decisions and their actions.

I am just so obsessed with this series. I love Lance Orion even more than I already did. I still think how the heirs treated the Vega Twins was all sorts of messed up I can understand Darius didn’t want anything to happen to his brother or his mother by the hand of his father (who is one POS)

Give me anything about this series and I can’t be anything but obsessed. All hail the twisted sisters!

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

First off, I would like this to be considering official vote that a zodiac academy boys POV book is written for each and every ZA book. I don’t care that we get insightinto the guys in the other books, I loved all the extra understanding I now have of the zodiac academy guys.

Reading Lance’s inner monologue was amazing. If I didn’t need a reason to love him anymore then I already did, he had to be hilarious. I also feel like I have such a deeper understanding of Darius. His actions in book 1 of the series are not as black and white as they appeared originally.

This book was so so good & I wish it didn’t end! The Zodiac Academy universe is one of my absolute favorites & I was so happy to return to it.

The audiobook was so well done, I have listened to many audiobooks recorded by the Bordeaux duo, but I loved having so much of Jake. He does such a phenomenal job with narrating these men & bringing the story to life.

Love it

Honestly sometimes retold POVs are a little boring but getting this perspective was a lot of fun
