Very dark
Eve and Dante are not likeable characters. Eve is a female version of Dante, there were parts in the story where she got on my nerves. The whole situation with her father was ridiculous.
I wanted more info on Joseph and his HEA.
The story is long and entertaining with plenty of action. The story is written well and will keep you engaged. This story is extremely dark with plenty of triggers.
It's not one I would listen to again.

Eve and Dante!
Dante is a dark and powerful man who lives by his own set of rules and beware anyone who stands in his way. A past tragedy destroyed the small part of him that allowed him to feel and ever since then vengeance is his only priority until he abducts Eve and he realizes that he can never let her go.
Eve thought she was happy with the life she was leading. After she is abducted by Dante she can’t help but love the man that everyone else fears and she accepts the man he is and the events that brought him to this place and now she can’t imagine a future without him despite the cost.
The suspense keeps you on edge, the surprises keep coming, the chemistry between them radiates off the pages but it the deep enduring love they have as they are willing to do anything to protect the other as they fight for the future they both need. The narrators did a wonderful job as they brought out the personalities of the characters as well as the intrigue and passion of the story. 🎧 Pink Flamingo Productions

Santiago Trilogy
The Santiago Trilogy is my first listen/read by the amazing Catherine Wiltcher. It took me a while to finish this book.
I’ve always thought I have no triggers. I don’t per se but I did find some of the scenes hard to listen to. They just rubbed me the wrong way I think.
When it says ‘dark romance’ she means it is all I’m saying.
❤️🔥 Book 1: Hearts of Darkness.
Ok, I had a hard love/hate relationship with this story. A lot of what Dante did, I had a hard time listening to and Eve didn’t help matters.
❤️🔥Book 2: Hearts Divine.
Ok, I like Dante a little more now. He’s still doing that thing I don’t like all alpha like but it’s not quite as bad. It’s easier to listen to and the story is changing. We are learning more background and my heart hurts for Dante.
❤️🔥Book 3: Hearts on Fire.
THIS! This is what I needed! This finale had me scared for a bit but it totally wrapped everything up. My heart hurt for Dante even if he is still a-h0l3-y but I’m happy with how their story went.
Overall a roller coaster of feelings for the story, the characters, and the story. The chemistry between Eve and Dante is red hot. (This story is super sMuttY. 😏 So beware.
The narration is amazing. I loved their voices, though as a Spanish speaker the pronunciation of ‘Mi Alma’ kind of hurt each time. No points were reduced for that of course!
I recommend this series if you like dark mafia, sexy romantic suspense, but be aware of TW!!!!

Fantastic Mafia Listen
Catherine Wiltcher is an amazing writer and she shines brilliantly in the Santiago Trilogy. The story flowed perfectly with the right amount of everything. Dante was a strong cartel leader, possessive anti hero who wiggled his way into my heart. Eve was fierce, loyal, determined, and was Dante’s queen. Together they were a powerful couple.
All books were fast paced, full of action with many turns and twists along the way. I was always kept guessing where the next threat was coming from. The perfect mix of violence and spice. Eve and Dante had some powerful chemistry with amazing sexy times. A wonderful cast of side characters. Looking forward to reading Anna and Joseph’s books next. If you are a lover of dark romance/mafia stories I would highly recommend this trilogy.
Sarah Puckett and JF Harding were phenomenal as Eve and Dante! Loved how their voiced flowed so well together and really pulled me into the story.

When not having control
Eve Miller was in the wrong place at the wrong time the night she was abducted by a man who saw her and had to have her. Dante Santiago is a powerful man who saw a woman and basically becomes obsessed with her but what Eve does not know is that they have a connection which can destroy their relationship forever. What Eve experiences in this trilogy of books is something else and the evolution of her character and her relationship with Dante changes. Loved this trilogy Sarah Puckett and JF Harding do an amazing job bringing these characters to life.

Fantastic mafia series
This is Eve and Dante's story, a dark erotic suspense romance with great characters and a story that will hook you from the start. Their chemistry is sizzling hot; they were made for each other without a doubt. The steamy scenes are pretty hot. The plot line is full of mystery and suspense, making you guess. The audiobook, narrated by JF Harding and Sarah Puckett, did an excellent job bringing the characters and their emotions to life. Harding's deep, raspy voice is perfect for Santiago's character, conveying his power. Puckett's narration of Avery's character is equally compelling; she was able to capture her characters' emotions.

This is the first book in The Santiago Trilogy, a dark Mafia Romance. We meet Eve and Dante's . Eve is a criminal investigative reporter, while Dante, a criminal. Eve is innocent, strong, and smart. He is dark and intense . When the the two meet they share an instant attraction, and a sizzling hot chemistry. This book has action, suspense twists and turns.

The dual narration of JF Harding and Sarah Puckett is just brilliant , the two of them are amazing to listen to .
I thought book one was brilliant, but book two is just as brilliant
We can see why Dante is a darkness and he needs the light of Eve to help him. Eve has to fight her own darkness to decide if she want to cross into Dante's world. The two of them are shocked at the investigations out come . The have not lost any of the chemistry that is between them.

This book is such a rollercoaster of emotions. The twists, turns and betrayals just kept coming!
Eve and Dante have amazing chemistry. Every time they’re together there’re fireworks. Their scenes are intense and smoking hot.

Dark and twisty fun!!!
Hearts of Darkness
This series was my first from this author. It had a lot of suspense and action, but it also had a really good storyline and I just fell in love with the characters, and even one of the side characters. This was full of st3amy goodness and Dante and Eve are so good together. I love their story and I need to know how it ends. The lack of a conclusion in book 1 is really the only thing I didn't like about this story.
Hearts Divine
As with book 1, the narration in this was really good, and in some places of the story it is what kept me going. Overall, I liked the continuation of the storyline, but it took a little bit for me to get back into it. I felt like the characters took a huge step back for the first 1/3 of the story and spent a large amount of time learning/coming to terms with things that were already known (or should have been). About halfway through the book it started to come together for me, and I was once again really invested in the characters and their actions. I was very interested in a specific side character in book 1, and in this one we got much more of him and even a few chapters from his POV! This book ended on a few interesting twists that combined with the narration will have me coming back for the final installment in the trilogy.
Hearts On Fire
I loved this whole series, but what I really want to know now is when we will get Joseph's story!!! I love the turns and reveals that came out in book 3 and those spicy scenes are just delightful 🥰 I was satisfied with how these characters fell together by the end, and even though I still have a few questions after finishing, I really enjoyed this series overall. Book 2 was a little bit slower for me but 3 picked it up again and had a much nicer and consistent pace. This series was so much fun!
The audio performances were great! I really enjoyed Sarah and JF. They worked well together, their performances overall were well balanced (no overly exaggerated acting, etc.) and their voices for each other’s characters were within the same range/tone making it much more pleasant switching POVs as it doesn’t throw you out of the story.

Dark Mafia Romance
I had already listened to the first two books a while ago but decided to listen to everything again. I’m so glad I listened from the start as there was so much I’d forgotten , how much of a ahole Dante was but Eve still fell for him. Also how much Joseph helped Eve and I can’t wait for his story to be on audio.

Dark Mafia Romance
The Santiago Trilogy by Catherine Wiltcher is a dark mafia romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Sarah Puckett and JF Harding.
This is the first series of Catherine's that I have read and it won't be my last. The chemistry between Eve and Dante was off the charts. Their relationship is messy, but you can't help but root for them.
Sarah and JF did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.
I would recommend this series if you like dark romances, mafia romances, or romantic suspense.

Loved It So Much
I received a copy of this book from the author/publisher to review for The Flock.
This audiobook contains the three books of this series in one collection. Hearts in Darkness, Hearts Divine and Hearts on Fire. It is one that you will not want to stop listening to. You are immediately sucked into this world and I for one never ever wanted it to be over. I could stay with these characters for a whole lot of other stories. The characters are just absolutely well written that you feel like you really know them. Eve and Dante are two characters that you will be rooting for from the beginning to the end. Eve is a strong independent woman who is really one smart lady. Dante is the definition of dominant and the way he is with Eve will just melt you because you just know that he has never been that way about any woman he has ever been around. I don't want to go into the story. I think the less you know the better off you are. Trust me this is one audio book that you do not want to miss. The narrators did an absolutely amazing job with the narration of this book. You feel like you are watching a movie in your head the entire time.

Sarah voice awful, like whisper most of story
This could have been better if it were not for Sarah narration was awful. The male narrator was perfect, it was just a very small portion he was allowed to read. So sick of same old female lead the sound awful spoiled, princess attitude, stupid and weak but think the world is under their control. She stampede the scene. Hard to finish. If will never buy another book with Sarah as narrator.

Wow!!
I had the absolute pleasure listening to JF Harding and Sarah Puckett perform as Eve and Dante in this trilogy. This series by Catherine Wiltcher has been on my tbr for some time and I was lucky enough to be able to listen to this audiobook. This dark mafia romance was all-consuming. The narrators brought this story to life and I felt I was in the story. Their cadence and inflection was on point. The characters fit their voices to a R. There was so much that had me captivated from the opening line to the very end. I highly recommend this audio!

Wow this book is everything! You do not want to miss this audio book. This book is dark, a little twisted, Mafia romance. Catherine Wiltcher is a new author to me. She is an amazing writer. I will definitely check out more of her books. Eve and Dante pasts have almost crossed several times. Eve works in journalism to try to expose the drug cartels. Dante was born into one of the leading drug cartel families. Everything changes when Eve snags the eye of Dante at the wrong time. This book ends in a unconventional HFN. More like hope to see you soon. Sarah Puckett and J.F. Harding did an absolutely fantastic job bringing these characters to life!

This is the second book in the Santiago Trilogy. At the end of book 1 Eve did not jump with Dante. She didn't know if she would ever see him again. By the end of this book, she learned more about her father then she ever wanted to know. Sarah Puckett and JF Harding did an incredible job narrating this book.
Hearts on Fire
This is the last book in The Santiago Trilogy. Dante Santiago is classified as one of the cruelest men alive. He has no mercy. The only person to ever crack this outer shell and catch a glimpse beyond was Eve. Book 2 ended with her best friend getting take. Dante has promised Eve that he will get her back. I loved this series. Sarah Puckett and JF Harding did a fantastic job narrating.

Dark and Thrilling
What a dark, thrilling, lustful ride this trilogy was! Catherine Wiltcher wrote a captivating dark mafia romance, where the characters were both lovable and annoyingly frustrating at times. Dante was intense, possessive and mostly unreasonable. He tried for Eve, but his darkness consumed him too much. Eve was inquisitive, sassy, and strong. She definitely gave Dante a run for his money. This boxset was incredible overall, but there were a few plot points that felt like an after thought and rushed at the end. However, this did not stop me from enjoying the trilogy at all. It was even better with the narration by my new favorite voice, JF Harding, and Sarah Puckett. They did a phenomenal job as Dante and Eve. JF was able to capture all of Dante’s dark, sociopathic and at times soft tendencies. Sarah’s portrayal as Eve was perfect, capturing Eve’s curious, calming and sassy personality. I absolutely enjoyed this story. I am excited to read for Grayson’s story.

Mafia Romance Trilogy
This Trilogy is amazing! A mafia romance that includes all three books in this series and I guarantee this storyline will captivate from start to finish. Our main characters are Eve and Dante. An angel and a devil. Will our devil corrupt the angel or can the angel save the devil and how far are either of them willing to go to save the other?!? Full of twists and turns, danger, deception and steamy chemistry. Perfectly narrated by: JF Harding and Sarah Puckett who brought all our characters to life as you listen and become enthralled in this mafia world. Will these two save each other for a HEA or will they be each other's undoing? A fantastic roller coaster of a ride and I loved every second of it!

Now the Santiago trilogy is in a boxed set. Amazing.
From start to finish i was captivated by this dark mafia story
The thrills, mysteries, lies, betrayal continue throughout this series . It is dark, steamy, dangerous. it kept me on the edge of my seat. Who to trust? A common enemy has the same objective as Dante as they join forces, there's a leak within their camp.
This is Dante and Eve love story. Its exciting, and thrilling. Eve is his light, Dante is her darkness. He's a monster, she's his angel.Dante is enamored with her, Eve is addicted to him.
She wanted revenge for her brother's death, but she didn't know that her captor was the one who ordered the hit.
This story is action packed, full of danger, lies, treachery, oh and hot sex.
Sarah Puckett and TJ Harding narration is phenomenal. They portray Eve and Dante at their strongest, weakest and most vulnerable moments. I thoroughly enjoyed lIstening the story .
