This was an intense and gritty story! Filled with twists and turns along the way and plenty of action. What Ada has endured was heartbreaking and I loved how Frankie loved her so much and found a way to let her know he was alive all those years apart. Narration was well done and I enjoyed listening to this story.

There’s not much to say where Catherine Wiltcher is involved all her books are perfection and this is no exception. Ada and Frankie were perfect everything they went through to get their perfect ending was awesome and the narrators nailed it .

It’s been a while since I’ve read Catherine Wilcher and i forgot how fun her books are. Dark but not too dark, London Villain drops you into a mafia war going south fast. Warring factions, dangerous secrets and a love that will not be extinguished. I also loved the cameos from other books.

A London Villain is an action-packed mafia book with involving a lot of characters, a dark tale with lots of twists, and some super steamy scenes. I am a big fan of this author's work and have been since the Santiago Trilogy as her writing just sucks you in. This book was a little heavier on the darker, more violent themes and had less in the romance department but it still had an engaging story line. There is also something to be said for characters who hold on to a love that spans over a decade apart. Who can't help but root for that? The audiobook was very well done, and kept me thoroughly invested from beginning to end. Both Aaron Smith and Evelyn Rose were pleasant to listen to and did a great job bringing this story to life. These two are the perfect match of star-crossed lovers. Think Romeo and Juliet meets mafia, it was a fantastic story!

I loved their love and hated the hardships they went through, but that made their love even better.

Also can we talk about all of the twists?! I won't give anything away but I didn't see any of them coming! And yes there is more than 1!! Every single time I thought I was ready and then I realized I most definitely was not ready.. not at all. It was such a rollercoaster and I loved it!

I really enjoyed listening to Evelyn Rose and Aaron Smith, they were great!

Star crossed lovers set in the world of mafia, how can it go wrong? Catherine Wiltcher is the best at romantic suspense and this was not exception to her talent. Frankie takes Ada's virginity on a dare, but that one time, that one action has their hearts hooked together forever. His love is on the edge of obsession, so when Ada is taken away for the life she was destined to, he made it his focus to get her back. Truly dark, and gritty Wiltcher gives us a fantastic listen plotted with twists and turns I didn't see coming. I didn't know who to trust and if their love would stand the test of time. Fourteen years is a long time and their journey is extremely messy! Loved this one as I do each of Wiltcher's books. She is a one click for me.

Aaron Smith and Evelyn Rose are both new narrators to me, and all I can say is WOW! The perfect casting for this story, their British accents brought the story and locations alive like a movie in my mind. Smith is the gritty, dangerous Frankie, and his voice held all of his feelings. Rose is Ada, a little innocent in the beginning, but as she matures, so does the emotions in her voice. I loved these two and will be watching for more narrations by them.

Wow, I was not expecting that ending. What a fantastic twist that I didn’t see coming . This book is very well written. If you like your romances raw and rough, this is definitely the book for you. Brilliant performance.

This book would not let me sleep, I had to finish it. What an incredible ride. The amazing narration really gave this story some depth that I would not be able to find in reading it. I enjoyed the characters, held my breath a few times. And was highly addicted until the last word. Very incredible listen. Kudos to the author and the narrators.

This book grabbed ahold of me and kept me listening all night!! I loved the suspense and character development! Ada and Frankie were wonderful! Both had such horrible things happen after they were ripped away from each other at 19 but grew stronger from them! I appreciate the author for not going into detail. It still packed the emotional punch!!
The spicy scenes were detailed and fabulous!
Frankie is the best kind of villain, and I loved his utter devotion and commitment to Ada while they were a part! I can't wait to read the other stories in this series!!
Evelyn did a fantastic job narrating!! She moved between characters, giving them distinct, clear voices! Her equipment and sound were superb!
Aaron is a great narrator, and I enjoyed his varied voices, BUT his equipment was awful! Every time a scene was spliced in (or whatever the technical term is), it sounded awful! His voice didn't match the original character flow, and it sounded like it was recorded in a barrel! When there weren't any add-ins or corrections, he sounded great!
