Summary

Now in a convenient audio bundle, here are the first three novels in Jill Ramsower’s captivating Five Families series. The full-length, best-selling novels feature the three Genovese sisters as each seeks to find love in a dangerous mafia world of lies, schemes, and betrayal.

Forever Lies

Five minutes in a stalled elevator was all it took to turn Alessia Genovese’s world upside down. She was just one among millions of New Yorkers, but now, she’s landed on Luca Romano’s radar, and he isn’t about to let her walk away. Luca’s secret agenda shatters Alessia’s perfectly crafted life - sometimes lies are easier than the truth. Narrated by Mackenzie Cartwright.

Never Truth

Nico Conti was the center of my universe - until he shattered my heart, leaving me broken and alone. For 10 years, I had to find my way in the dark. Now he’s come back, trying to explain away his absence and pick up where we left off, but I’m not the same girl he abandoned. I have enough secrets to rival his own, and if I’m not careful, he’s going to unravel every one of them. Narrated by Ava Erickson and Wen Ross.

Blood Always

It should have been a simple arranged marriage, but fate had other plans. He saw her untamed independence as a challenge. She saw his alluring authority as a threat. Their lives were altered irrevocably - from enemies allied by a strategic marriage to something dark and consuming. Something that tasted like obsession. Narrated by Jo Raylan and Jason Clarke.

Warning: These are mafia romances intended for mature audiences with some elements that may be inappropriate for sensitive audiences. If you like a sharp edge to your romance and deliciously dangerous leading men, get ready to lose yourself!

Amazing set of books,it a must read

Book one
I like it,different angle of her not realising who her family are, book 2 gets even better, you really get the connection between the two main leads, the sad bits are really gripping, you can really feel her hurt, book 3 I didn’t think I like when I realised which sister it was about, but Maria was the best, she’s blunt and sassy, dominant, almost like a man, she’s fearless, definitely read it,one story told from 6 ppls veiw, over 21 hours, you won’t be able to put your earphones down

Series worth a credit

These mafia stories are written in a more sophisticated approach with interesting plots. The characters are more complex and the writer dives in their emotional and mental background reveling well hidden secrets. The chemistry between the couples is understandable and their stories are unique.

Great Series

I loved listening to all three stories but Blood Always was my favorite. I wasn’t sure in the beginning because of the narrators but they grew on me as the story went on. Great series!

All 3 Books Were Great

I wasn't sure I wanted to invest time in this series, however I knew I liked all the narrators so I was like, why not. Glad I did, very good, the way they wove the stories together, it was palpable, the resentment &want of blood for blood by the end. First book, I do not know how 1 person could endure so many unthinkable tragedies in the course of a week, so it started to ring untrue but the first sister was truly clueless and I realized their are people this oblivious and naive in the world, so I resigned to just hoping for a happy ending. The other books were better, the other sisters didn't wear blinders, even though Sophia still has to endure, but the blessing was in Maria-the true heroin. Recommend!

It gets better.

Book 1 was okay. Book 2 was good. Book 3 was great. Maria has got to be my favorite of the sisters. She’s a baddie. I somehow put 2 & 2 together quite early on. Her story had my heart ready to burst. I saw it coming and still the heartache. Good writing.
The narrators did a great job.

I couldn't finish it

I really enjoyed the first two books. Even though both female leads were kinda clueless, the stories were still engaging. Book 3? I couldn't get past the first hour. It was so boring, I found myself spacing out and missing chunks of what was read. The female narrator was awful. Her voice was so deep and masculine that I couldn't even connect to the character, which made me dislike Maria. I wish I hadn't used a credit on this.

It was okay

At first I had a hard time getting into the books. Decided to try it again since I used a credit for this and didn’t want to waste it. It was okay, the narrators were great, Teddy Hamilton is one of my favorites. Loved the sisters. I think Maria was one of my favorites out of 3. Loved the father.
