The story had big gaps in it with no context. The author didn't expand the characters or expand the story line. What would have been a good story was very amateurish. I felt it compressed a trilogy into a short series of stories.

X I rarely give up on a book but almost gave up on this one. The story was pretty slow moving and the secret was revealed much too soon.. having said that the narrator was very good and made the best of what was a mediocre story
