About this listen
As the Imperium of Mankind spreads across the galaxy, bringing all of humanity into its embrace, the advance is spearheaded by the primarchs, superhuman sons of the immortal Emperor. Each of these heroes is a warrior born and a leader bred, but darkness lurks in the hearts of some and threatens to tear apart all that they have worked to build.
This audio drama anthology contains three full-cast tales, starring the primarchs Konrad Curze, better known as the sinister Night Haunter, and Perturabo, the Lord of Iron. In two stories, the seed of treachery in their hearts threatens to derail their efforts to bring unity to the nascent Imperium. In addition, one story focuses on the mysterious Malcador the Sigillite, the Emperor's closest ally and confidant, as he tells secrets to a dying friend.

A collection of titles.
Titles:
Stone and Iron
Malcador, First lord of the imperium
Konrad Curze: A lesson in darkness
They are all great books, providing little bits of information that fleshes out the story line of 30k. Overall Malcador is the best because there is more storyline weight to the conclusion. The other two are essentially condensed information that you get by reading the other 30k books.

Black Library
As always a Fantastic piece from Black Library. They consistently provide an immersive setting that takes you on a dystopian journey into the far future when there is only war and the laughter of dark gods
