Liked way more than book 1!

Ok so this book stepped it up after book 1. I wasn’t sure where it was going but I definitely enjoyed this one way more than the first book in the series. It actually has gotten me excited for book 3 that comes out on audio this week.

We get some back story in this one, we finally get to see what Marco is going to be/bring to this throuple. I actually enjoyed him a lot more in this one, I liked seeing his Daddy side come out and how he opened up his heart and explained his family and what has helped mold him into the man he is today. The steamy scenes were yummy in this one! I think the plot helped elevate this to a 4 star from me as well. There was finally some action after being hidden away. I liked the dichotomy of Joseph and Marco’s family members accepting Ashlynn and eventually their dynamic (made me sad how most didnt but to each their own). I liked seeing Ashlynn not backing down, trying to help the man she loved. I liked that she was put in danger and the guys had to work through it between themselves but also she had to put her foot down and get them to see the right way. I liked the ending, made me smile to see how they have grown and have a moment to be free. We’ll see how long that lasts in book 3.

Narration I thought was way better. I think how the narrator for Joseph tried to do Marco wasn’t working for me. I liked getting POVs from Marco and his narrator did a great job. The emotions were amped up in this one and I thought they did a good job with their performances and trying to really put themselves in their shoes.

Intense and Passionate!

This is the second book in the Mafia Ménage Trilogy, a Dark Romance. The story continues where the first book left off. Ashlyn, Joseph and Marco's relationship is intense, and passionate. The storyline is original. The story ends with a cliffhanger, and I am looking forward to listening to Theirs to Protect, the next book in the series, to know what happens next. Michelle Price, Scott Rose, and Zachary Zaba did a great job bringing this story to life. #PFPAudio

The Daddy and the Dom

okay, I like this book but I was expecting more. I actually want more action. don't get me wrong it's a good book. but it has more hot steamy sense than an actual story.

Short and steamy

I found Julia Sykes years ago and have been reading her books every since. This is the first series I've listened to so far. This was a steamy listen with the three coming together. They are deepening their relationship and learning how their relationship will work together. There is an intense scene that that made my heart drop. Honestly, I wish all three books would have been one audiobook. Just as soon as you sink into the listen, it's over. At least all the audios are out so you can listen to one after the other!

Zachary Zaba, Scott Rose, and Michelle Price are excellent narrators. Having three narrators for this series was perfect! They each performed with emotion that had it rolling like a movie in my head. Love their voices.

Mafia Ménage Romance

The Daddy and the Dom by Julia Sykes is a ménage mafia romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Michelle Price, Scott Rose, and Zachary Zaba. This is the second book in the Mafia Ménage Trilogy.

This is the second book of Julia's that I have read, and it won't be my last. I am really enjoying the relationship that is blooming between Ashlyn, Joseph, and Marco. I can't wait to see how it will progress over the course of the series. I liked that we got all of their points of views throughout the book.

The book ended on a cliffhanger which wasn't a surprise since it's the second book in the series. I can't wait to dive into the next book in the series Theirs to Protect to get more of their story.

Michelle, Scott, and Zachary did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this series if you like ménage romances, captive romances, or mafia romances.

This is the second book in the Mafia Ménage Trilogy. Ashlyn, Joseph and Marco finally have started to connect on a more intimate level then just captors and captive. Marco wants to take care of Ashlyn and be her Daddy. While Joseph originally was her sweet lover, now he has shown his tru Dom tendencies. Michelle Price, Scott Rose, and Zachary Zaba did a fantastic job narrating this book.

Book 2 - Mafia Menage

This is book 2 in Sykes Mafia Menage and continues the story with our main characters Ashlyn, Marco and Joseph. Things heat up quickly in this book as the relationship turns into a true menage. I liked the overall characters and storyline but I wish it had more mafia excitement. Also, it's been a bit since I listened to book 1 and there was no real re-cap so it took me a minute to get my bearings back to these characters and what happened in book 1. I loved the more exciting parts and the honesty and history that come out in their discussions. The steamy scenes were just that steamy but for me I think I just wanted more. Narration was well done, Price did a great job with Ashlyn's vocals and came thru bratty when needed and softened when appropriate. Rose and Zaba did great as Marco and Joseph. I liked how we're teased with a HEA only to be thrown a twist at the end which will have readers and listeners begging to know more...

Daddy and Sir

This is book 2 of the trilogy following Ashlyn, Marco, and Joseph.

Joseph is Ashlyns first love, but after being kidnapped by Marco and set to live in hiding with the two men she starts to question many things. First she loves Joseph but why is she feeling a pull toward Marco. Both men have complicated pasts and love for dark and dirty play. Ashlyn will have to answer if she is ready to explore with these men or be scared by what others may think.

This does end in a soft cliffhanger and is set to wrap up in book 3.

The narration was pretty good, the voices fit well to what I imagined the characters would look and sound like.

Intersted to See where the story will go from here.

Great story

I loved every piece of this adventure between these three individuals. I am happy that they all worked together and in the end where together.

Yes, Daddy!

The Daddy and the Dom was so much better than book 1 in this trilogy. This one had an interesting storyline and hot, kinky sex mixed with the right of danger and suspense. It was fast-paced and held my attention from beginning to end. I love that we got POVs from Marco, Joseph and Ashlyn who were all likable characters. Michelle Price, Scott Rose and Zachary Zaba all did a nice job bringing this story to life.
