Not my cup of tea
Took a long time to get to a place where I was actually enjoying the story somewhat the first chapters/nearly first book was odd in my opinion makes more sense down the line but still very random BDSM placed in for me. Think my favourite character was his bodyguard which when I read it for the romance really isn’t good :/ but if this is your thing I think it was extremely well written and after you get used to the readers voice it’s fine (again in beginning it seems odd)

This is so cringe
The story is ridiculous and does not flow at all. The heroine acts like a 15 year old. The narrator sounds like he is talking to a child the whole time. And he reads with no expression I have tried to listen to this for months but I just can’t get into it.

Wow
I'm so glad I kept listening! at first all I did was cry and feel heartbroken once Marcus's intentions were made apparent. I even found the voice acting not to my taste. so I returned the book.. but I couldn't get Cora out of my head, or the story I had started.. I ended up downloading it again thinking oh well, let's so how it goes and within a couple more chapters I was even more hooked! I still got teary eyed through out at heart wrenching moments, and frustrated at the parts where simply talking could have solved a lot of heartache between Cora and Marcus.
one of the best set of books I've read/listened to and will happily listen to again :)

Worth a read.. gradually gets better.. steamy not chemistry between main characters Marcus and Cora
BDSM isn't my kink but I don't mind reading the odd dark romance with it. Marcus is the cool dark under lord of the city New Olympus seeking revenge for wrongs done unto his family in the past. Cora is the naive pretty young woman, new to town seeking independence who falls for Marcus and his charms. The two have their own agenda, one a fairy tale ending, the other redemption.. needless to say which is which. But as with all best made plans, life gets in the way and the alluring chemistry between them festers uncontrollably and deepens.. book 1.
In book 2 I like the shift in Cora's character when she finally grows a pair and stands up to the all consuming, all controlling Marcus. I didn't understand when mistakes made by Cora that had a negative impact on Marcus, resulted in her leaving him and not wanting to talk to him?! Talk about wrong and strong! Maybe she's afraid of the repercussions, later her reason for keeping the secret that would've easily cleared the air, is completely bizarre and a total cop out.
Cora transitions from a naive girl, to a strong willed gangster.. the biggest U turn I've ever seen. It's a pity her brain cells fail to develop as much as her bravery. Cora is overly trusting of strangers and acqaintances, resulting in her being placed in danger multiple times.. to the point I was eye rolling and wanting to shake her.
The chemistry between them is electric throughout the series.. it sizzles and sparks, their sexual desire for each other never wanes and certainly comes to life off the page! They're a perfect fit since Marcus has the need to dominate and control in the bedroom whilst Cora gets off by being submissive.
I enjoyed the series, the story is action packed with multiple sub plots (albeit some are under developed) and gradually improves.

Im flabbergasted
This entire thing should have been a single book! Im not sure how the author managed to but she DRAGGED the story out tremendously. The story was so bland. Nothing new happened from the first to the final novel. If nothing else I’m giving her 5 stars just for wasting my time like a gansta. 😎

Stunning boxset!!! FABULOUS 5+++ stars!!!!
Complete Innocence boxset an Audiobook by Stasia Black and Lee Savino was a mesmerizing, romantic, exciting, sizzling story of Cora and Marcus. He’s a kingpin…powerful, strong, merciless, and absolutely captivated by innocent, pure Cora. He will do anything to make her his. These three books follow these characters through a series of ruthless, dangerous, and intense scenarios. All the while, their relationship ebbs and flows….both not entirely sure of the other. While each book would have ended in a cliffhanger….since this was the entire 3-part box set, I didn’t have a problem!!!
The narration by Jack Calihan was ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!!!!!!! He captured both major characters perfectly. He was equally adept at portraying the supporting characters…who were incredibly central to the stories as well!!!
The is one downside to this boxset….I was absolutely devasted when it ended. I’ve listened to quite a few audiobooks…and this one was PERFECT IN EVERY WAY!!!!!!! I LOVED IT!!! 5++++++++ stars!!!!!

Unbelievable
I really tried. I adjusted my view on the female character from a strong independent woman to a weak helpless girl. However as I journeyed through the story line I adjusted my thought of the female to a helpless stupid girl. Clearly the author decided at the end of the book that she was going to make the female character a prowess. If that isn't enough the author wanted to change the character of male from strong dominant man to a rude abusive man. As I journey through the story there is no indication that he even likes her. Now in one hour, he is a loving considerate passionate male. I'm so confused. The things that happened and the choices that were made baffle me! I'm trying to understand the psyche of the characters but their personification and there actions are so opposite that it angers me. It doesn't match. I finished the set because I'm not a quitter but I would really like for someone to explain this book to me! My favorite part is when the author states the obvious... "Is it wrong to do something wrong?" Ummm... Yeah!!! Please understand.... this book is going BACK!!

Lots of potential but it was a bit disappointing
Generally, I’m not sensitive about kinky sex but some of the BDSM scenes were unrealistic for a young naive virgin. I just couldn’t feel the chemistry or heat between these two characters. The female heroine is just too immature and naive. It’s just not believable enough that Corra and Marcus could have a deep enough connection to fall in love. There was also very little character development as the serious progressed. Lastly, unlike some other reviews, I simply could not tolerate the male voice that was just for the audio version. It was way to deep and scratchy to reflect the true voice of a young female or a refined crime lord for that matter.

Excellent Mafia Trilogy
Received copy of audible for a honest review. Liked that it was all 3 books so got to hear the whole story in one setting. Excellent story telling about young innocent daughter of a rival mafia family falling in love and their struggles with her family and Marcus's trust issues. The narrative was easy to fallow and did great job with each character. Would recommend this trilogy to anyone.

WHAT?!
THIS BOOK IS AMAZING! If you like steamy and frustratingly addictive novels READ THESE BOOKS!! I literally almost lost my mind on multiple occasions! I hope one day I can meet the authors of these novels I would literally die 😩 please read these books! It’s a must! Especially for someone who loves romance, action, plot twists! Every time I thought things were becoming more predictable, I was thrown for another loop! I listen to this book while I’m at work, I stayed up many nights because I couldn’t go to sleep without knowing what happened next! If I don’t find a man like Marcus I don’t want him!! Ugh yes this book was everything I could’ve hoped for! I’ll be reading every book by Stasia black and Lee Savino! 💛 and the readers voice? I’m in love 😍 I’ll be suggesting this series to everyone I meet from now on!

this was such a good read!! i couldnt put it down! i was blown away by the strong and powerful bond that i felt like i developed with the characters...it was intense and oh so hot as well!! ill listen to it again for sure!!

Complete Innocence boxset
I enjoy a good dark Mafia romance, with all the twists and turns. This one does have the elements I do enjoy and as the series continues it gets better and better. It starts out slowly (Innocence). It changes from what I thought it would be about to what it actually is. There is a backstory that you don't learn about until later. I was heartbroken for Cora when she realized Marcus was not the man she thought he would be (although that was obvious to the reader). He was actually worse than what I thought he would be. I was disgusted that he would do what he did to Cora for a sake of revenge to someone she didn't even know existed. The second book (Awakening) I was still annoyed with Marcus, but was happy Cora started to become her own person. If he had actually shown her how he felt, rather than be such an A**hole, maybe they could have had a chance for a decent relationship. The third book (Queen of the Underworld) is what brings everything together. I liked that Cora left Marcus and that he gave her space, but again, had they actually had developed a real relationship and had there been trust (which he broke the night of their wedding) they could have been much stronger together. Marcus just wanted her to be "sweet and innocent" yet he treated her like shit, even though he loved her. I like that Cora is a smart strong character that becomes an alpha female!

I can't even with this story line and narration
Hands down one of the dumbest books. I got halfway through the first one. The story line is weak. the verbiage it ludicrous and it's an insult to women everywhere. The narrator drones in a monotone voice. Not sure what I expected, good thing it was on sale.

Disappointing
I loved the performance but hated everything else. It wasn’t appealing how Cora was making stupid choices and her personality was just frustrating. Also, there seems to be major gaps in a storyline, how is it that her husband didn’t have any idea how she got captured and that she contacted cops? What happened with the video camera when she supposedly went to AJs place ? I mean seriously, who is interested in reading about weak female character who is beyond ignorant. Oh and the twist is that then somehow she becomes the queen of underworld the same character who ran away cause her husband killed someone who killed her friends ? And get this, then she out of the blue knows how to slit some guy’s throat ? Lots of inconsistencies and just disappointing. Pretty pathetic ...

Just blah
I tried really hard to like and even finish this book/series. But I couldn’t stop myself from throwing up in my mouth every time the girl would get chained up and thought she liked it. I get that this was supposed to be kinky but it was the exact opposite.
