A sexy stranger!
Aspen has had the worst luck with hi ex husband. He stuck her to mediocrity. Her friends though are awesome and on a trip they find her a sexy ruthless stranger to forget her sorrows. He turns out a mafia man, but one with a great heart. They both can’t fight the attraction. She is in for a whirlwind of romance and a bit of danger. I enjoyed how protective he was, the way he was with his family and how he wanted all the good things for Aspen. Both narrators did an excellent job with this story, accent and all.

Holy amazing mafia wars
This book was so good. I love mafia and cannot wait for more! This book was so amazingly good and I am thoroughly enjoying the first in this series.

Steamy and constant excitement
Starting off with a steamy bang, this book is full of excitement. I really liked how alpha Maksim is. Protective but loving, it is easy to see how Aspen fell for him immediately and I adored him, even though he has done some bad stuff in his life. I liked Aspen but she felt weak a lot of the book- insecure (which in part makes sense given we started the book with her finally getting divorced.) however, with such a smart, strong male character, her weaknesses become even more evident.
I listened to the audiobook, narrated by Sarah Puckett and Zachary Johnson. Sarah’s beautiful, sweet voice was perfect for the innocent Aspen. She also did a great job playing Maksim, affecting an accent. Zachary Johnson has a beautifully deep voice and did a great job playing a strong alpha man like Maksim. I’m not an expert on accents but for some reason, he sounded more Scottish to me than Russian but it was still a fun auditory experience!

Loved this story 😍
Gotta say Well Done to Zachary and Sarah... i LOVED the Russian accents!! Really enjoyed listening.
I usually listen to high school/ College sports stories so this was different being as Aspen and Maksim were alot more... mature in age- late 30s/40s
There was most definitely some steamy scenes- i loved how they didnt give into temptation and reveal their identities- the chemistry was sky high.. if its meant to be then Fate will find a way which happened!!!
The Ivanov's brothers are all alpha males and i cant wait to get their stories...
The storyline i enjoyed, very fast paced...

Fantastic !!
I loved the book and I love the audio too! Zachary Johnson is perfect for Maksim that's how I imagined he would sound like. I laughed to when people where knocking on the door and when he shouted " in a minute" he acted that out brilliant cause he found his girl again and annoyed that they won't stop knocking Haha Sarah Puckett did perfect job too for Aspen especially of a voice of a strong women & she did the good job on the male voices !
both narrators did a fantastic job to bring this suspense romance to life. I smiled and swoon through out the audiobook. Must Listen & Read

Hot Sex with a Stranger
A super hot and steamy sexcapade with a stranger in Vegas turns into an insta-love mafia romance between Maksim and Aspen. The story is filled with off the charts sexual chemistry, danger and suspense. It kept me on the edge of my seat from that first blindfolded encounter that Aspen had with her ruthless stranger until the end of the story. I'm looking forward to listening to more books in the Mafia Wars series. Sarah Puckett and Zachary Johnson both did an amazing job bringing these characters to life.

Well worth the listen
I’ve loved this book forever. I have the kindle/book and now the audio version.
The voice were great, even if they did forget their accents sometimes 😉
It flowed beautifully and I could have listened to it for hours more.
