Summary
Hearts on Fire is the final book in USA Today best-selling author Catherine Wiltcher's dark and thrilling Santiago Trilogy.
My Devil:
He came into my life like a raging storm.
The man I despised.
The killer with no conscience.
I fell as hard as a woman like me can fall.
When he bleeds, I feel his pain. When we kiss, I taste his tragedy. When he kills, my heart is stained with all the colors of his vengeance.
My Angel:
I was the captor who became the captivated.
Her light was a blazing trail, illuminating the bullet holes that studded my darkness.
I betrayed, but she forgave.
Now, we're standing on the threshold of hell, and everyone around us is burning.
Trust no one.
Seek the truth.
Deliver justice.
We have no choice but to finish this war....together.

Wow!
Have just finished this trilogy and am I sat here smiling at just how good these books have been. The twists and turns, the complexity of the story and the characters of Dante, Eve and Joseph are just fabulous. I stumbled across this author by chance and I am so glad I did - to anyone debating whether to listen to these books, just do it! I really, really hope that the interlinked books to this series are made into audiobooks soon.

Dark Mafia Romance
Hearts On Fire by Catherine Wiltcher is a dark mafia romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Sarah Puckett and JF Harding. This is the third book in The Santiago Trilogy.
This is the first series of Catherine's that I have read and it won't be my last. The chemistry between Eve and Dante was off the charts. Their relationship is messy, but you can't help but root for them. I really enjoyed getting Dante, Eve, and Joseph's points of view throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.
I can't wait for the Grayson Duet to be released on audio so I can get Jospeh and Anna's story.
Sarah and JF did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.
I would recommend this book if you like dark romances, mafia romances, or romantic suspense.

Awesome finale for the series
For a new author, Catherine captures alpha mafia men so well that it will leave you asking what else she has available.
In this final instalment of the Santiago series , it still is surreal. And written with so many details that if you are like me, asking yourself who was that?
Evie And Dante are still trying to deal with knowing what is really happening in their world and how to save women whose lives have been taken away from them. Especially Evie’s best friend. Evie and Dante will stop at nothing to protect those who can’t protect themselves. Dante is so much more than I thought at the start of this series and so is Evie. So loyal she is and it’s changing her mafia man so much. Twists and turns and amazing details of secrets and deception that keeps a listener on the edge wondering how is this going to end. I was really happy with the ending of it and hope this new to me author keeps up with side characters getting their own books. Really enjoyed this series from the very first book to this awesome ending that I wasn’t sure what was going to happen!
JF Harding was wonderful as Dante. Showing strength and perseverance in everything he does. Deadly, companding yet we hear his commitment to his friends and family. Loved the flashbacks to see how the relationship became so strong between Dante and Joseph. Sarah Puckett is also prefect as the strong willed and caring Evie and shows us both Evie’s perseverance, strength and compassion in spades. Catherine is definitely an author to watch in the future.

Love this trilogy!
This whole trilogy has kept me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. It is dark and violent and full of danger with many twists and turns. Plus the sex is hot, and the characters are intense. Dante and Eve's story is one I highly recommend to anyone who loves dark romance. I love both Sarah Puckett and JF Harding. Both are amazing narrators who do an excellent job bringing a story to life.

A Spectacular Trilogy!
Hearts on Fire is the third and final instalment in the Santiago Trilogy, a thrilling, action-packed romantic suspense. I'm going to start by saying Catherine Wiltcher is a genius; she bought everything together brilliantly, wrapping up the trilogy in the most gratifying way possible. As per, previous two books, Hearts on Fire is an exhilarating ride on a spiralling highway, jam-packed with unexpected twists, turns, and plenty of drama. The unpredictability of the plot kept me right at the edge of my seat. The story pretty much starts right after where Hearts of Darkness ended. Sebastian is still a threat, taking up his game a few more notches. Dante needs to keep sharp and find a way to take out Sebastian and his threats for good. But when traitors hide among friends and plot against Dante and Eve, no plan is ever guaranteed, and the ramifications are too devastating.
Dante and Eve have come a long way since their first encounter in a Miami liquor store. The core of their characters has remained steady; Dante is still a killer, criminal, brutal, protective, hot-tempered, and overbearing Alpha. Eve is the same determined, loyal, sassy and steadfast young woman - Dante's angel, the light to his darkness. Together they are so much more with the explosive and passionate connection. Their journey is epic, a scorching, exciting, intense, and dangerous love affair, one filled with lies, betrayals, death, and turmoil. Despite it all, their need and love for another are visceral, withstanding the obstacles paved in their way.
The narration is marvellous. Sarah Puckett and JF Harding performed phenomenally. They honed in on the characters and embodied the distinct personas flawlessly. JF Harding has a warm, masculine, and appealing tone to his voice, and Sarah Puckett is one of my favourite female narrators. I was thoroughly engrossed in their storytelling and can't imagine anyone else narrating the trilogy. Santiago Trilogy is a brilliantly written cartel/mafia romantic suspense with compelling characters and stellar narration, one I'm wholeheartedly recommending.

A Perfect Ending to the Series!!!
This series was just everything....one of the best I have listened to in a long, long time. It had everything...great characters, a fantastic, truly captivating and engaging story line, some seriously steamy moments, a fierce leading lady and her alpha, and amazing narration to boot.
Hearts on Fire is book three in The Santiago Trilogy and it must be read/listened to after the first two as it is not a standalone. This book offers up more information about Dante and Grayson's past and their history together, and picks up with more action and drama as the book spiralled toward the ending and I wasn't quite sure my heart was going to make it.
The ending was perfection!!!! I really enjoyed Joseph's role in the series and the relationship he had with Eve and I definitely need to read his books next (I looked and it appears to be a duet). I loved that despite the darkness and for all the bad that was Dante, he loved Eve with everything he had and would do anything for her. I am so happy to have found this author and this series and cannot wait to read more in the future!
Sarah Puckett and JF Harding totally killed it with the narration of this story. Sarah Puckett is so pleasant to listen to and I felt was perfect as Eve. I think JF Harding also did a fantastic job portraying Dante as his narration made him sound so dark and dangerous and I think he did a great job with the accent. I would highly recommend them both! #PinkFlamingoProductions #TheFlock
