Summary

Brought to you by Penguin.

The latest novel in the smash-hit Plated Prisoners by Sunday Times bestselling author Raven Kennedy

'Find me in another life. Find me in them all'

It all ends now...

But Every end is also a beginning.

I was supposed to die. If it weren’t for Slade, I would have. But he tore a hole the world I know and I went through it. To Annwyn. To home.

Annwyn is the realm of the fae, a magical place full of beauty and danger.

Here, I am known as Lyäri Ulvêre – the golden one gone. And there are people in this world who want to keep me that way.

But I am not that girl in the gilded cage anymore, and I won’t be used again. Nor stopped on my way back to Slade.

I am my own woman. And I will find him. In this world, or the next.

Best narrators I think I've ever listened to.

Like I said above these are two of the best narrators I've heard.
Slade's voice sounds a lot like Henry Cavill in The Witcher.
Great at accents and they sound like what I expected for the characters.

Love this series, it's the first one I've listened to, rather than reading and I wasn't disappointed. If I had a spare minute I stuck my headphones in. Raven is very descriptive, which helps build the world in your mind, as well as the characters and what is happening during the scene.

I'll be getting the 6th book as soon as I can! Now, excuse me while I download more of this series on audible 🤗

Gripping

Great story, great to have the different character stories, narrator voice bit annoying, but can’t wait till the next book

love the story hate the narrator

I love this series but I've never hated a narrator so much. Aurens narrative made it reallllly hard to follow the story. the story itself is amazing as always

Raven, another cliffhanger?!!

I love this series, even if Raven Kennedey keeps leaving her books on cliffhangers!!

I personally am not a fan of the British female narrator, I preferred the original USA narrator when the series was first recorded. She's not bad (would be excellent for children's books in particular), she's just not right for Auren.

I do love the Slade narrator though!

Meh

Story itself lacked depth or point. Feels very much like the author is just stretching the plot to sell more books at this point.
I also found the descriptions of certain aspects of fae things to be cliché & juvenile.

I’ve read the previous books in hard copy & this is first title in series I’ve listened to, but I could not get on with the narrators. Auren’s voice was too girlish/juvenile for comfort and Slade was so flat & unaffected it was like listening to AI.

No thanks very much. Don’t think I’ll continue in this series anymore.

Waste of time

The male narrator was fine, the female made every character sound like a petulant child. This book could have been a novella. There was wayyyy too much focus on povs I truly could not care less about. The main characters are separated for the WHOLE BOOK What utter rubbish, it was more a filler book. It lasted tooooooo long for the content and development of the story. I actually don’t think I’ve ever been so angry after reading a book.
