This is how you do fantasy romance! The fantasy elements are well thought out and explained perfectly without too much detail
The narrator is amazing! She conveys emotions in her voice so well. Definitely continuing the series…

Fantastic Book to start my Audible Journey
This is the first audible I have listened to and it did not dissapoint. The story was brilliant, the characters were well thought out and you are drawn in immediately by them. The actual audible its self was well timed and animated well with differing voices! Have already downloaded the second book

Very enjoyable experience
Great performance by the narrator. Full of emotion and whilst the world and character building took up most of this book I really loved it a lot. The love interest doesn’t really feature but the set up is all done and that ending is a cliffhanger.

Excellent couldn’t stop listening
Best book I’ve listened to in a while. Gripping story line. Well paced not too fast, leaves time for the characters to develop and leaves you hanging on for what happens next without being slow. I can’t wait for the next instalments and equally I know I’m going to be sad when it ends!

Love the story but sometimes it was a bit slow. Thanks to audiobooks, I just put it in 1,2 speed :) very excited for the next book

Amazing!
I'm a huge fan of fantasy romance books, especially ones written by women and featuring a strong female main character. This book does not disappoint. I absolutely loved it and I can't wait until the next book is out. Well worth a listen!

A Stunning hidden gem
Loved loved loved this! Devoured the book within 24 hrs and couldn’t stop thinking about it when away from it. I just wanted to read and read!
This book is phenomenal. The characters, the world building, the magic, the captivating writing - everything! Penn’s writing is enthralling and addictive.
The narrator, Amanda Dolan is brilliant too!
