Amazing book
a great book by Mark Torr. really enjoyed his work. the series is full of twists and turns. it's got a slow start but really picks up. narrators have done an amazing job too.

A good value
This genre isn’t for everyone so if you dislike it then this book will not change your mind, if you enjoy it then it’s a hit for sure. An interesting new spin on this genre, it doesn’t reinvent the wheel but it absolutely adds it’s own twist. The MC isn’t to awkward or indecisive like we see sometimes. The story moves forward at a decent pace and for 1 credit it’s a great deal for all the books.
The world and the MC develop alongside each other so the listener isn’t lost in what’s going on and it’s easy to keep up. The narrators do a fantastic job bringing the story to life and it’s easy to tell characters apart.
This story is a solid 3.5-4, I rate it at a 5 because I refuse to punish an author due to the Amazon rating system.

Not going to win any awards
Free with the membership, so I can't complain about cost, but when I tell you that they gave the elves Brooklyn accents, hopefully you'll understand why I might want to.
It's not terrible, though?
A perfectly mindless wish fulfillment, with an emphasis on 'mindless'.
If you enjoy stories that make no sense when you think too hard about them, you'll definitely enjoy this one... I certainly did.

Not my usual but ….
Tried this out as I can’t say no to a complete series for one token. Wasn’t disappointed fans of the genre will enjoy the interesting take on the burden of having a harem. Enjoyed it thoroughly definitely a great addition to my library

The story isn't bad, but the narration not so good
I liked the story its self, and Christian is always a great narrator. But Erin's voice is like finger nails on a chalk board. She reads like she's reading to a 2 year old and I felt offended more than entertained. I can't stand it anymore and stopped after chapter 3 of the first book. I'm sorry author, your story is great but it got ruined by a horrible narrator. No offense Christian, you're still one of my favs.

Over and over the same thing over girl tits and butts and that is through the whole series end I’d the worst I’m just barley finished it

Weak man
A big stick and an accent is all this man had. Never once believed any one of the women would have thrown them selfs at him, not one. Performance was ok with the lack of interesting lines they were given. Was bad, just bad.

Leaves much to be desired
The female voice actor was 5 different levels of NJ the narrator changing his voice was unnecessary the plot was dull I mean what happened with these war ending kids what about satisfying the other 24 slots y was sex the answer to killing the spirit queen made zero sense
