About this listen
This city tells a story of a man seeking vengeance....
Renzo Marchesi gives me two choices when he walks into my art gallery: help him find his brother's killer or suffer the consequences.
He's a mafia prince.... Heir to the Marchesi throne. A man consumed by his demons. Beautiful. Ruthless.
I don't belong in his world, and he doesn't belong in mine.
Still, I'm not the spoiled politician's daughter he thinks I am....
This is the City of Thieves, where lies are hard currency and deception is the real art.
Trust no one. Love no one.
Too bad I don't follow my own rules....
City of Thieves is an enemies-to-lovers mafia romance with no cliff-hanger and a guaranteed HEA. For mature listeners only.

Badass h & Brutal H - THE BEST MATCH EVER❤️🔥

I had my eye on this book for a long time
I love those authors so much!
Each one of them individually is amazing, but together? Wow!!😍
I recommend reading this book after reading the Santiago Trilogy, Carrera Cartel, Grayson Duet and Devils and Dust (I haven't gotten to D&D yet but I ordered a paperback of it and I'm waiting for it to arrive so I can finally get to know Rick and Nina's love story😍)
Lorenzo ("Renzo") Marchesi embarks on a quest for revenge in search of who is responsible for his brother's murder so that he can close this chapter in his life before he takes his seat at the head of the family.
He is merciless, cruel, savage, brutal and ready to get his hands dirty (literally) in order to reach his goal🩸
His bloody path collides with the path of Tatiana Sanders - owner of the most exclusive private modern art gallery in the city of New York.
Her hands are clean, she left by choice and detests the mafia world.
And as extreme opposites as they are, they both want to reach the same goal - to lay their hands on the lost picture.
You must be asking yourself - what does a photo have to do with it? You will have to read and find out for yourself
Heroes who come from the same world but chose different paths, secrets and lies, haters to lovers, mafia with twists, crazy tension and that's just a little of what went on in this book.
I was really surprised by the twists the authors chose, they completely caught me off guard and I jumped at it!
I've missed the Santiagos, Carreras, Graysons families so much😍
Make me want to do a re-read from the start ❤️🔥
Highly recommend ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥

Suspenseful!
Renzo Marchesi had my whole heart!
I loved the twists and turns and suspense of this book and the push and pull between Renzo and Tatiana. I am obsessed with Cora and Catherine's work together and separate! Their mafia worlds are spectacular and really grab my interest from the start. This book was no disappointment and I was here for all the drama!
Vivienne LaRue and Alan Carlson really gave these characters the intensity they deserved! I loved it.

Brilliant Story & Narration🎧 Enthralling & Twisted
Wow, this “Enemies to Lovers Mafia Romance” novel just blew me away, the story grabbed my attention right from the start and captivated it straight to the end, nothing else around me mattered except what was going to happen next in this book. I am all for team Wiltcher and Kenborn, I love their writing style and the characters and storylines they create, complex and multilayered stories that keep you thinking and take you to the edge of your seat. Renzo Marchesi was never supposed to be next in line to be the underboss, but after his brother’s death it falls to him, despite being the screw up of the family. Before he can even think of that, he needs to get revenge on those who murdered his brother and he has a plan on how to get to them and her name is Tatiana. Tatiana grew up in an affluent family, but not all is as it seems, she is now estranged from her family running her own art gallery and as if she did not have enough complications in her life another complication walks into her life and his name is Renzo. Renzo thinks he has her number, but she has secrets and hides them well, but he has secrets of his own. There is never a dull moment in this book, it is a cleverly plotted story with plenty of drama, angst, twists and turns, thrilling suspense, heartfelt emotions and a slow burn romance. Catherine Wiltcher and Cora Kenborn, thank you for another amazing story and the wild and emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧📚🎧 And for the fantastic narration, Vivienne La Rue and Alan Carlson did an amazing job bringing these characters and story to life. They had a complete understanding of the characters they were portraying, gave each a voice that fit that character’s persona to a tee, accents and all, sounding believable in every role they played. LaRue played Tatiana with perfection, grasped her strength and determination, as well as her insecurities. Carlson nailed it as Renzo, a man on a mission with no one getting in his way. Both were great performing the roles of the secondary characters too. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and projected them into their performance. These entertaining storytellers are versatile voice artists and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another amazing listen.

Entertaining Mafia Listen
Overall, this is an enjoyable and entertaining audiobook! Captivating start but I did struggle in a few areas to keep engaged. Tatiana and Renzo are both from families with connections to the mafia, and there are numerous secrets to be uncovered. Renzo sets his sights on Tatiana after looking for answers to his brother's murder and blackmails her for her to help him, and of course, they run into trouble. Tatiana had endured so much and still remains a strong woman in spite of what's been taken from her. I did like both characters but I wish there had been much more chemistry between them and the build-up of their relationship. It definitely delivers a great enemies-to-lovers story though - their banter and arguments gave it some angst but I would have loved even more angst!

An Enemies To Lovers Romance
City of Thieves by Catherine Wiltcher and Cora Kenborn is an enemies to lovers mafia romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Vivienne LaRue and Alan Carlson.
I love when Cora and Catherine team up! I was pulled in from the first chapter and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. I really enjoyed the relationship that bloomed between Renzo and Tatiana. I liked that we got both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.
Vivienne and Alan did a great job on the narration. I look forwared to listening to more of their work in the future.
I would recommend this book if you like dark romances, mafia romances, age gap romances, enemies to lovers romances, or romantic suspense.
