People behaved somewhat differently when they were angry than when they were at ease. Emotionally reactive people are unable to use communication skills. Emotional reactivity (ER) impairs a person's ability to reason and behave sensibly. This is especially true when someone is dealing with someone they love and you both have a history of emotional sensitivity.
