The world as we know it has come to an end.

When an EMP decimates the world’s power grid, society falls faster than anyone could have imagined. For Connor Murray, a farm boy in New York City whose war veteran father had prepared him for such a day, the fall of the old world only means he’ll have to fight to survive into the new one.

But while Connor is fighting his way out, little does he know that his father and sister are fighting their way in to come and save him.

After an EMP strike leaves the country with no power or communications, James Bowers, a fourth-generation cattle rancher, must rescue his wife and son from the chaos engulfing San Antonio, Texas. But with so many unprepared, James discovers more than one type of enemy.

Another great listen

I do love a good EMP book narrated by Cheryl May and Jess Trepanier both are great and it always a pleasure to listen to a box set with them involved. The story itself was okay, I have read better by these authors but it still worked and was a good listen.
