Summary
These Impossible Things charts the dreams and disappointments of a group of British Muslim women; Jenna, Kees and Malak. They have been friends for years: the three of them together against the world.
Yet one night changes everything between them and they are left adrift, marooned from each other as their lives take different paths. Without the support of each other, nothing seems to go quite right and in the wake of heartbreaks, marriages, new careers and new beginnings, they need each other more than ever. Will they be able to forgive each other in time?
These Impossible Things tells the story of three women coming to terms with the choices we make, of reconciling love, loss, faith, womanhood and friendship, and how one moment, in a life where everything feels at odds, can change everything.

Faith, Fate & Friendship
Such a tender telling of how fate, faith and friendship collide. I was caught between not being able to stop listening and not wanting it to ever end. A truly beautiful story which I will most definitely be sharing with others.

beautiful words and storytelling
I have listened to this for a second time, and was again totally gripped. I love the well rounded and realistic characters - the 3 women at the centre of the story but also the men who were part of their lives, the good and bad. The actor reading the book is wonderful, her voice was the perfect match for those words. Im a big fan of Salma El-wardany, she's an absolute boss, so inspirational!

This book is brillant. it touch all my emotions. it also gave me an insight into another culture with its highs & lows of frenidship, family & relationships. which i really appreciate. Beautifully put together. We'll done to the author.

Enthralled and loved every minute
One of the best books I have read.
Its about friendship, love, fear and living 2 lives. Its a beautiful story of 3 women their faith, community and family. I laughed and cried, all while out walking my dog.
The performance was perfect.

Must Read!
Thoroughly enjoyed this book. Very well written with such accurate observations on family and personal life that I related to. Found myself gasping at some parts and finished it a lot quicker then I would have normally as it was so absorbing and I just had to know what happened next. I hope they make a 6 part series - it is so deserving.
