About this listen
Lost love. Forbidden Love. Unrequited love. Tenderness. Desire. Romance. Passion.
Who's Loving You? is a celebration of love in all its guises written by women of colour, with 10 original short stories from bold new voices, literary prize-winners and national treasures.
Two souls come together and are torn apart, lifetime after lifetime. A seed of hope begins to grow out of the ashes of grief, heartbreak and loss. Romance sparks in the most unexpected of places. And an unbreakable bond is formed that transcends countries, continents and even the boundaries of time....
In this extraordinary collection, 10 writers explore the full spectrum of love in all its messy, joyful, agonising and exhilarating forms. Celebrating and centring the romance, passion and desire of women of colour, these stories burn with an intensity and longing that lingers long after the final moment.

"A beautiful collection that I both lost and found myself in. Unbelievably exciting stories from some show-stoppingly talented writers." (Candice Carty-Williams, author of Queenie)

I loved it from start to the very end
I enjoyed it ,related to some stories so much too.
I was an opportunity to also learn about others experiences from a very emotionally charged cultural and ethnic aspect .
I am still dreaming of the characters several days later, I was only frustrated by the sudden end or rather stop in their stories but this is prewarned atthe start.

Unexpected love stories
I enjoyed experiencing the culture of the various authors, being immersed in the lives of the protagonists and their countries. That these were narrated by the authored added to the experience.
These love stories are REAL and not fairytales, no happily ever afters as much as I wanted them. Some dangling endings, but all thoroughly delightful.

Wonderful stories, wonderfully written and read
This collection opens up worlds that too often don’t get the publication opportunities they ought. But they also tap into the universal joy, power, pain and resilience of the human heart. The readers are for the most part the authors: they fluently bring out every nuance and insight in their extraordinary prose. It is a storytelling that sings: culture, pain, happiness, and delicious humour weave together unforgettably. A brilliant read for those who believe in love, those who have given up on it, those who are waiting for it and those who are blessed by it. For those who feel they simply cannot imagine it- this is your door into new worlds.

love is so lovely
exactly the type of thing I needed. I often tend to gravitate toward stories that have a lot of pain and sadness in then because they feel more "real" to me. I found that it was really affecting me though, so I decided to try this for a change, and I'm so happy I did. Each story was a joy to listen to, and easy to get lost in. I will be recommending to friends
