Summary

Three women. Three generations. One legacy they must share...

A multi-generational novel that follows two women from the same family as each embarks on her own journey through single parenthood in the 1950s and the present day. It explores the varying perception of single parenthood and was inspired by Wallace's family as her grandmother raised her mother alone in the 1950s.

An impressive debut novel brilliantly narrated.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book. The story flows well throughout and kept me gripped. A triumphant first novel from Jemma Wallace! Hopefully the first of many.

This is a wonderful gritty family story set over 3 generations in Edinburgh. Just wanted to keep on gong til I finished. This is so well narrated!! Loved it.

Nothing unusual. Great if you like Hallmark movies.

Eleven hours of a hallmark movie. Some ups and downs, but nothing out of the ordinary.
Not great for me, but it might be good for someone who likes light reading.
Excellent narration..
