Summary
I'm Sam Quinn, the werewolf book nerd owner of the Slaughtered Lamb Bookstore and Bar. Clive, my vampire gentleman caller, has asked me to marry him. His nocturne is less than celebratory. Unfortunately, for them and the sexy vamp doing her best to seduce him, his cold, dead heart beats only for me.
As much as my love life feels like a minefield, it has to take a backseat to a far more pressing problem. I need to deal with my aunt, the woman who's been trying to kill me for as long as I can remember. She's figured out how to weaponize my friends against me. To have any hope of surviving, I have to learn to use my necromantic gifts. I need a teacher. I need to determine what I'm capable of in a hurry because my aunt doesn't care how many are hurt or killed as long as she gets what she wants. What she wants is my name on a headstone.
I'm gathering my friends - werewolves, vampires, wicches, gorgons, a Fury, a half-demon, an elf, and a couple of dragon-shifters - into a kind of Fellowship of the Sam. It's going to be one hell of a battle. Hopefully, San Francisco will still be standing when the dust clears.

Absolutely brilliant!
It’s a great series and I absolutely love Seana’s writing. I don’t get bored or try to skip parts. It flows beautifully and the excellent narration by Samantha Dezs is the best American to British I have heard in a long time. Wonderful.

Goes from strength to strength
More adventure, more discoveries, more accents for the narrator to mangle! What more could you want? Really enjoyed this. now I will have to WAIT for the next instalment! (I hate waiting). More is revealed about Sam's powers and Clive's past, we see some familiar faces from Book 2 as well as new characters. Thoroughly enjoyed. I actually thought the narrator may have got better at Clive's accent in Book 2, but she's back to mangling words almost beyond all recognition in this one. I'm used to it now, so it's just amusing rather than aggravating.

Good Series
This has been a very good series. This is book 3 but books one and two probably should be read before this one. The ending seem to suggest this was the final book in this series but there was something left open just in case. I Love romances where the two main characters are so supportive of each other. It would be nice to see Clive and Sam try to settle into a normal life. Ms. Desz did an excellent job with switching out the voices and help in keeping track of who’s who

I want more 5/5
I tried book one and wanted more. I read book two and thought this is good, and immediately bought book three and I know I"M HOOKED. MORE PLEASE.
The characters and the setting are so perfect for the storyline. Seana Kelly has proven her writing abilities. Fun and yet serious enough to make you want more. But the icing on the cake is Samantha Desz's narration. It makes the book a must read / listen to. The team of Seana Kelly and Samantha Desz is a winner. I'd rate this team as an 8 / 5 if I could rate that high.

Stunning
I've enjoyed every part, even though at times I've seemed to miss a bit. Great narration that added layer to the reading I would have done without it. I can't wait for the next installment being narration=ready for me to pick

Love this series!📖❤️
I have absolutely loved this series and can’t wait for the next!!!! Sam Quinn may be my new favorite heroine!
Samantha Desz has been fantastic! In most cases I prefer listening to a male and female narrator team when there are so many different characters being represented. Desz does a phenomenal job with so many different characters and accents - no matter if they’re male/female, British/Cajun, or even a tiny pixie! Was a great listen! Excellent job!
