Summary
Evie is in the grip of a gambling addiction.
She's terrified she'll destroy the lives of her husband and two small daughters, especially with her rising debt. She grabs onto a lifeline - the offer of a program that promises to heal addictions and give her a fresh start.

Was so impressed
I stumbled across this book by accident after listening to a previous Australian author before this title. Was really impressed, kept me gripped and as sad as it sounds I looked forward to finishing work to drive on my hour long journey home to get further in the story. If you like dark thrillers with mystery then this one is for you.
Can imagine this making a great film. Need more books like this!

Couldn't put it down
This is another really good book by this author, with a good developing story with twists and turns. The characters were well developed and each were recognisable, with believable accents by the performer.

Excellent story
I really enjoyed this audiobook, an interesting unique story. The narrator was also very good, which makes a huge difference whilst listening. I really like Anni Taylor’s work, this is my third book and all are so different, very clever stories and characters.

Really gripping
I found this really gripping from the start. An unusual idea and although very dark avoids unnecessary gratuity while still getting the horror of it all across. The narrator is excellent and able to handle many accents convincingly. I highly recommend to any crime/thriller fans out there.
