A time traveler’s work is never done.

With the help of Vinny, his vinyl-loving sidekick, Joe once again sets out to change the course of history. Sounds simple enough...but when it comes to time travel, nothing is ever as it seems. Who is the old time traveler working for? And who decides what can and can’t be changed?
In a thrilling twist, Joe discovers that the victim is critically important to the future, and what starts out as a straightforward mission soon becomes a race to unravel a mystery - one that threatens the very timeline he fought so hard to protect. Joe must dig deeper than ever, master his newfound skills, and save the woman before the past catches up with him for good.
Turns out time doesn’t heal after all. It just adds salt.

Are we getting the US version
This was a really enjoyable book to listen to, great story, clever use of time travel and very well performed by Mr Porter.
However, sorry about this, are we hearing an Americanised version.... stroller instead of pushchair, intersection instead of junction... and a few more. Nick Jones is British and I doubt he would use these Americanisms when writing. OK its not a deal breaker but just a niggle that made me cringe when I was listening. Looking forward to the next two books.

Good book
Enjoyed this one more than previous one. I like the fact that what happened on boon one has massive consequences for his life ahead.

The dynamic duo - Vinny and Cash
The Funky Vincent!
Time travel, drama, comedy - all brilliant, but what really shines through this story is friendship and family. loved it from start to finish.

Loved the story hated the women’s voices
The narrator annoyed me with his very squeaky and often irritating women’s voices. But the story was good. It feels incomplete like there is more to come. Read it over a week while driving to and from work.

Great story, narration OK but...
Really enjoyed the book, unusual premise very well presented. I'll look for more from the author. My slight reservation is with the narration. Although I like Ray Porter as a narrator, the American accent delivering what is an English story with a variety of English characters jarred a little. He does a reasonable job because he's a good voice actor, but it did spoil my enjoyment somewhat. I would still recommend the book as an enjoyable listen

Enjoyable second book in Joseph Bridgeman series..
I enjoyed this book and LOL when I guessed & said out loud where they would go for ''swinging 60's'' apparel!! (Mary Quant)...

Enjoyable story but…
…the American narrator is not the right person for the job, the regional accents are dreadful and a distraction from the story. The use of American words (eg stroller) are also a bit jarring in a story with British characters set in the UK.

Have questions! Hoping clarity comes in the book 3
Another great book and storyline 👏
I'm really enjoying the sometimes predictability and suspense. I'm finished within a day. I have a question, but I can't divulge it without giving the story away so I'll wait and carry on listening and I'm hoping the answer will reveal itself. Leaves me wondering what would I do if I could time travel? What events might change in the world from your actions. loving the excitable Vinny as much as I am Joe and Amy. On to Book 3

A good tale, well told although with flaws.
I Really enjoyed the first in this series so was looking forward to this, the second. It was worth the wait. There are things about it that I dislike, but overall I enjoyed it and feel I am able to live with the flaws.
The story picks up where the first book left off but the impact of what has happened is skated over. Joe's life has massively changed as he is the only one who remembers what life was like before, With little time to adjust he is once more having to travel back in time. This time though he can go further and the effects seems to be fewer.
The women in this story are all a bit flat- very little depth or dimension to them which is a bit frustrating, as some are pivotal to the tale.
The narration is generally good. Unlike others it doesn't bother me to have an American reading it. I was more bothered by his not very good attempts at accents, but feel his story telling, intonation etc. is good.
