Brilliant SciFi
This is one of the best science fiction books I have ‘read’. A terminal page-turner that I finished far too soon because I couldn’t put it down. I could quibble with a little of the dialogue back ‘on Earth’, but the action in space was, well, superb!
It’s ‘techie’, and all about problem-solving—like The Martian—but absolutely brilliant for my tastes. I thought I saw—although now I can’t find it—someone in these reviews comparing Andy Weir to Arthur C Clarke. This is classic SciFi—Clarke on speed. Brilliant characterisation from Ray Porter too.
I enjoyed Project Hail Mary so much, I immediately went back and listened to it all over again. I cannot recommend it too highly.

12 stars isn't enough for this incredible story
Andy Weir, thank you. What a tour de force! This is not some sci-fi fan boy fiction. This is a study on what it means to be human. I laughed and I cried at least twice. I just loved the way the protagonists worked through their problems together. From learning how to communicate to figuring out why they thought at the same speed. Just genius. I'm so sad I've finished it. Please write another soon.

wow what a story! I never thought anything could match the Martian...I was wrong. I was on the edge of my earphones throughout! the narrator was as always perfect too

What a ride!!
The narrator made this story come alive, I could not stop listening! It was sci ency, funny, adventurous and heart felt. I highly recommend this book

Amaze!
Amaze! I loved this book. Perhaps I even liked it better than the Martian.
How is it that Weir can make “sciencing the shit” out of stuff into a plot point? And make it exciting as well?!?
He is also insanely good at clever names. There are so many new things that the MC of this book gets to name and they really are so clever.
This book had me snickering out loud. But it also had me sniffling as well. Any book that does that gets a double thumbs up from me.
The audiobook was wonderful. Ray Porter was the perfect voice actor for this. He really nailed it. The sound engineer did a lovely job rendering certain sounds.

Enjoyable story.
Andy Weir steps away from the impossible and into the fantasy realm of SiFi... Which makes for an enjoyable story. As usual full of witt and moments of thought. Certainly keeps you listening. Enjoy.

Really worth listening to.
This book was fantastic I found myself going from having the biggest smile on my face to holding back tears within minutes of each other. It has a great moments of humour which I really love in sci-fi books, the ending was not what I was expecting at all but I'm so glad that it unfolded the way it did. Andy Weir is my go to author for all things science and space he doesn't disappoint.

Best Story Ever!
This story was so incredible! to the point I kept avoiding sleep when listening to it at night.
The scientific methods used are all correct and presented in such a wonderful way each time. Like (spoilers) when Grace determined that the star he was orbiting wasn't Sol! And so so much more!
Incredible gut wrenching moments of anticipation and wondered and hope and fear all at once. And so many way the story could have played out that I'm still thinking up alternatives to the story at different parts.
I wholeheartedly recommend this book!
Just for the premises of the book alone. Let alone the content.
Outstanding presentation by Ray Porter and masterful story created by Andy Weir!
