What a wild ride
I've been listening to other time travel books and came across this epic deal, 1 credit for 4 books!
Excellent, exciting story, the narrator took a minute to get into it but still all round a great series.

Make time for a great listen.
Probably the best time travel tail I have heard yet.
Really enjoyed it.
As a member of audible I even got this fantastic Mega box set as a free listen via the included titles.
Absolutely fantastic stuff.
Will definitely be checking out the next in the series.

No time like the present!
This has been one of the richest and most amazing time travel series I have ever had the pleasure of listening to. The characters are engaging and the scenarios complex enough that you have to pay attention to every detail. Cannot recommend this box set highly enough. Well written and well narrated.

3 books together 62hrs - avoid this format
The first book was good, the second dragged and I lost interest. I think this is a problem with a format of a very long audio book compilation, in this case 62hours! where you can't separate the books. I am unable to find the start of book 3 so am giving up having got bogged down in two, despite having listened to 36hours! A big time investment.

There isn't a better deal on audible.
I'd read all of these back when they were released, but enjoying them again in audio has been amazing.
Such a fantastic world that Nathan has built, I love it and the friends I have recommended it to love it just as much.

Disappointed
unfortunately I cannot comment on the story at all,as I could not even get past the first chapter. The narration is truly awful, this guy needs a new vocation. He has no feeling and seems to speak at high speed when speaking for different characters. A real shame.

Unfortunate
This is a really cool story and would be alot of fun to listen to if it had a talented narrator reading it. unfortunately, the narrator is not talented at all and really turns an otherwise good book into a tedious and boring listening experience. They should really let the author listen to a few chapters before hiring a voice actor. If I were this author, I would be so upset. Really unfortunate 😕

Someone else said "Unfortunate;" I concur.
Have you ever gone to one of those big-box, membership stores that sells granola in 50 box lots, or yogurt in 3-gallon tubs, only to make a purchase of said bulk items, only to get home find that in fact you do not like the items at all?
Yes, you “saved big” by “buying big,” but what did you really end up with?
That is where this audiobook purchase left me. Sixty-one hours for one credit? What a deal!
Nope.
For me the reader is as important as the writer, and I should have paid more attention to the negative reviews on the reader of book one, which I could not even bring myself to finish, and I hate wasting anything.
The negative comments about the reader's annoying cadence, halting style and overall tone were correct. It was nothing less than a painful listen.
I am wondering if anyone else felt that Shaggy, Scooby, Daphne, Fred, and Velma were going to pop out at any moment and pull the rubber mask off the evil caretaker/villain?
That is the vibe this listen gives.
The story was OK, and if it had been read by someone else, it may have been enjoyable, or maybe not, but we will never know.
I’d say give this one a pass.

There’s a reason this is 4 books for a credit
The basic story is decent, but the main character is both dumb and a narcissist.
If a bad decision can be made it will be made. If time travel can be conveniently forgotten to heighten “drama” it will be. If a previous piece of information needs to be ignored, it will be. The stories had a lot of potential, but get overshadowed by the shallow unrealistic characters. The series would have been better without the main character’s unreasoning obsession with a girlfriend who he’s only known for a few weeks. By the third book I actively dislikes the main character.
The narrator’s halting style and bad British accents don’t help at all.

I should have listened
I went through a few reviews and they had this series at a five. There were a few folks that gave this a three or lower. Those were the right reviews. I am at chapter 21 and each chapter makes me when how much dumber can the characters get. It’s as if the writer asks “what would a stupid person do and writes it down. By the time I got that far I was hoping the killer would get them all so we could start over. Save your money..
****Update the first book ended and it doesn’t change the review. Still limited characters and a rushed ending..****

Outstanding concept, terrible hero
I love the time travel concept, the devices and very much loved the idea of a chronothon race. The various settings were great, as well. The one thing that almost ruined the series for me, more times than I can count, is the stupidity of the main character, Ben. I didnt think it possible for an author to have their hero make the wrong decision almost EVERY time a decision was made. After a while, it was so bad that I couldnt even root for the protagonist of the story; thus leaving me emotionally uninvested in the story.
Benjamin takes #1 of the dumbest characters I've ever read. That said, the rest of the series is enough to make up for it, enough to keep listening at least. The rest of the cast was great. But, my God, the lack of common sense and any mental acuity was hard to listen to. I wish it could be rewritten with Mim or Carson as the lead.

Just started... will edit later...
Just wanted to jump in by saying that I really like this narrator! In fact, I found this book because I liked his other books in the litrpg genre which also happen to be time-related. So don't listen to other reviewers... listen to a sample instead!

Whoa!
A+ non-stop adventure story that is Just! Right!
Hang on and keep hanging on!
Fist bump to Van Coops! I was so giddy that the first book in the series was a COMPLETE and satisfactory story! The story didn’t just drop out to leave you with that stranded reader feeling. There was more, and more, and more!
And, it was truly enjoyable.
A+ story. I would think this is appropriate for most audiences YA +.
Great narration, again, by Mr. Hellegers.
The future is assuredly promising for this series. 2 thumbs up.

Issues with only female character
The only female character’s main concern while time traveling is finding cute clothes. What a waste of a credit.

A different time travel series
Wow, 61+ hours and I was never bored. It was more then a time travel book, it was easy to forget about that while an adventure was going on.

Better than I thought it was going to be.
The first book was just okay but the later books were good and got better. He does a really good job of keeping the time travel consistent. I didn't notice any paradoxes in any of the stories. I hope he writes more in this universe.
