ugh cliffhanger!!!

So hoping there is a book 4 coming at some point. That cliffhanger leaves so many questions.

I NEEEED more, I need my fix!

The voice actors voices annoyed me at 1st because they recycled the voices instead of trying new ones.(other titles they'd done). but the story and characters are amazing. no plot point seemed too unbelievable, no character seemed too overpowered. no one was perfect. This series was PERFECTION. I am sorry it's over though.

Good read

this series really has good character development. Everything that this series has pointed to plot wise has been spoken on or led up to so far, and you can forecast some of the things that are going to get touched on. I appreciate the realism of how the harem is progressing it’s not a rushed experience it’s flushed out it’s has some depth to it , you know the reasoning of the characters and why some are hesitant. Good stuff keep them coming please

Meh.

It's more of the same, but a lot less action, alot less interesting interaction with superpowers. Mostly character building, discussions and random sex. One more interesting situation in the middle with a kidnapping, but otherwise this book caused me to fastforward alot...

Don't get me wrong. It's not bad. This kind of writing however should be done in bigger books that can afford this level of character building. In a book that you can read in one evening it feels like you just read a book where nothing happened.

Excellent narration again.

I enjoy the series but have issues with this book

Don't get me wrong I do understand the concept behind the struggle by adding the other 2 women into the mix. With that said,

Minor Spoiler

I have an issue with how the 2 new additions are excluded. With the ability to keep one young and their sole wish is to be added into the the relationship it seems like a no brainer. Eventually that exclusion will lead to negative emotions and probably the loss of basically immortality. The fear of blackmail was brought up with the acknowledgment almost any price would be paid to keep the family together so why not start building that relationship sooner rather then later? Not to mention playing matchmaker would take her away from those who can protect her. Everyone knows the healer is the most important member. Which means keeping them close and safe!

If it’ll crush you, let it

I had taken a sabbatical on listening to this series especially after the last book. But now realizing how foolish that was, I’ve come to know how great the series is. So if you think that the next one might just crush you. It’s worth the risk. The book was too good.

An amzing third book with a hell of an ending!

Wow, this is an amazing third installment to an amazing series. I really recommend picking this up if you are reading this review, the series only continues to get better from here and has become one my favorites series. This book just builds on what book 1 and 2 gave us. The ending of this book is incredible.

surprise

okay so there was a number of surprises in this one that well surprise me. this is the first series that I've listened to by this author and to be perfectly honest I almost walked away from the books early on. I'm kind of glad now that I didn't. Honestly though I think it's going to go right down to the wire as to whether or not I feel like I've wasted my time or not. If I do end up feeling like that it won't be because of the author's writing it'll be because of my personal preference. one more thing which Bears mentioning is the narration team. They really are some of the best in the biz as far as I'm concerned.
