Great story shame about the noise
l loved the story but the noises were too much for me, swishing doors beeps and other non necessary electronic clutter nearly stopped me from finishing but I'm glad I did.

Confusion and Reality
While this story I do not hate and actually find it intriguing and engaging, It's ending will leave you a little confused as to what happened. Even after listening to it a few times, It's hard to really know what the outcome was.
Nevertheless, Rene Auberjonois still was on top form narrating and the idea of holosuites that essentially are used to create a universe is a fascinating concept. The technobabble is a bit overdone however and usually it's something I don't mind (and sometimes don't remember) and in fairness while McHogue is a simple villain who isn't in the same league as Gul Dukat, he does his job and is still a great villain in his own right.
I will say Warped to me is still worth a listen.

Not even Odo can save Warped
The story is read by Rene Auberjonois (Odo). He does a very good job, but even he can't energize this lacking story. Maybe I'm too close to DS9, but I don't believe the characters acted true and the dialogue was weak, at best. The basic plot line was a bit far-fetched/unrealistic/inane. I struggled to get through this book.

Rene makes it Work
I wasn't really thrilled with this story but the reader Rene Auberjonois is so good that I just had to keep listening.

Terrible
Perhaps the reason this was so terrible was simply the fact that it was poorly abridged, because it was hard to follow, and made very little sense. I kept getting the distinct impression I had missed a whole lot. A bit like watching a movie from the beginning for 5 minutes. Leaving for 30 mins, returning for another ten, and so on. It was the only star trek audio book I actually struggled to listen through to the end. Waste of money.
