My mother had Claire Weekes books at home when I was young..She would have been 100 years old this year!.. She had terrible anxiety and now I am the same.After all these years I listened to this book again..by far the best book on anxiety I’ve read. Absolutely blown away.. As always from Claire Weekes, this is a wonderful book. She is so compassionate and also so brilliant at explaining her sensible and achievable treatment. Apart from some Mindfulness books, I think this is the best, right up there with Jon Kabat-Zinn and Mark Williams. Just listening to it comforts you. Do buy it. It gives you HOPE Lastly, the narration is absolutely perfect .

this book is almost as if I was dr weekes patient in the book .. this is the only book I have found where I can relate to almost 100% of what she is saying .. highly recommend . very helpful and informative

This book saves lives. Dr Weekes had such depth of knowledge around the subject. She explains her programme for recovery with clarity and genuine understanding and compassion for the person experiencing anxiety. The narration is nicely delivered and made special because of the familial connection.

Classic self-help book, way ahead of its time.
