Ended my Despair

I was not sleeping and suffering from severe generalised anxiety my GP had prescribed anti-depressant/anxiety medication. I was keen to try and avoid medication if I could do I tried breathing techniques - which helped somewhat. I then stumbled across this book one night at 3.30am - the online exercises and the hypnosis have been revolutionary for me. Since practising them my anxiety no longer controls my life and I am able to sleep every night. I have not touched the medication. If you are reading this and are feeling as I was feeling - give it a try with an open heart - I truly hope it works for you as it has for me.

Excellent

Great audible book, have his other books but never found time to pick up. Listening to Paul McKenna is like having your own personal appt with him. I’ve listened to the book whilst doing other things so haven’t had chance to do the exercises but just listening and not participating has had a calming effect

Only 20 mins in and I'm really impressed.

Within the first 12 minutes of the audiobook (I usually read) it explains our primitive reaction to stress and anxiety. It immediately makes sense that our fight or flight can assist our lives in the 'right situation' but when it's working too much - it affects our lives and health and our mental health. If i was actually reading the book; "I wouldn't be able to put it down". 30 mins or so in (Dr Calahan - thought field therapy). Thank you Mr Mckenna.

I didn't buy this for myself; I bought it for my 21 year old son; he's yet to give himself '10 minutes' (my advice) to calm his mind...

I'll update on him.

Conned

I really feel as if I've been conned after buying this.

It's just old material put together for a new book.
It spins like he's making some of these stories up to prove a point. Shame on you, Paul, I used to like this trance in another previous book I bought.

Unimpressed

Although he delivers the book with the zest of a U.S. evangelist, essentially this is a mixture of recycled widely known techniques and debunked theories. There are much better books on this subject included for free in your membership. Feel very short changed overall
