Summary
I’ve walked the streets of Phoenix Valley for twenty two years knowing exactly who I am: an orphan, a human, a nobody. Summoned by The Hex to test my humanity, I was prepared to fail, destined to be the same mundane girl…
I was wrong. Pandora’s Box called to me, sensing a magic I never knew existed. With my world turned upside down and full of possibilities, I must now call Paradise Heights home. To live amongst supernaturals, attend Saints Academy, and find my place.
Curiosity has me willing to give this a try, but the Elites of Saints Academy tempt to distract me, and that’s something I can’t afford.
Xander is gruff, Khaos cold, Zen soothing, and Adonis…lives up to his name. Angel, Demon, God, Vampire, Shifter. I could be anything, anyone. I have three years to figure out who I’m meant to be…
Let the countdown begin.
Saints Academy is a paranormal fantasy reverse-harem series.

Pantheon Gods & Paranormal Species in one school.
I am editing this review simply to add my opinion on the rest of the series....I believe that when a first book is released on Audible and all the bad reviews are focused on the poor performance of one of the Narrators....and the Author/Publisher continues to use that narrator for the rest of the series....We as customers should demand a refund. If you havent bought this yet...dont. You wont be able to get through the terrible narration i speak about below or that other reviews here have made their comments known.
The story has a good pace, the first book doesnt tell too much of the world but its a fun take on paranormal species and Mythical Gods and Angels.
Long as your into RH stories you will enjoy this, Onyl issue in the story is that it suffers from far too much internal dialogue and descriptive narration, three adjectives when only one was needed, combine this with the major issue of the narrator its very difficult to finish listening too
The one major issue when dealing with the Audible version is....
A Complete failure of narration....ya might be harsh but honestly i have no idea how this narration was greenlight by the Author or the publisher. L McCallister tried just far too hard to put on a theatrical performance, as if she is performing a shakespearean play infront of a live audience, needing to project every word with flare to the upper decks....
Every sentance she reads is done in an exasperated breathy low ton, most single sillible words are stretched out and the tempo of every sentance no matter how mundain the action, builds higher and higher till the narrator is screaming out the ending of what was just a sentance or two of the Main character walking to work or finding the right office for a meeting.
...I simple couldnt keep listening no matter how hard i tried, i just kept giving up.

Ok
I enjoyed the overall story but thought the narrators were pretty bad, especially the male. He has an intellectual sound that does NOT fit well with romance.

Perfectly written
This book drew me in from the very beginning. I couldn’t stop listening even if I tried ( trust me, there was no intent to try). The world building, the character development, the plot twists, everything was spot on. I just finished and I honestly could listen again. Definitely going in my favorites pile. Purchasing book two in 3….2…..1…..

So good
Rhea's story draws you in from the start and you can't help but pull for her. Raised as an orphan, she has always relied on herself. When she is plucked out of her life and plopped into a supernatural Academy she soon learns, sometimes it's nice to have friends to lean on. Great start to a series. Can't wait for the next book.
