YES YES YES!
I was not prepared for the level of adventure in this book
Once again we find our heroine fighting against all odds, thrown into a situation beyond her control, and what does she do?
She embraces it like the bada$$ she is... Seriously, she takes every moment as it comes and does not allow self-pity and hopelessness to consume her
The sexual tension? Chef's kiss! Someone please pop this girl's cherry! I am about to burst with all these tension!
Narrator? well, magnificent - beautiful accents... Jasmine Mas did a great job choosing Maeve York to bring this story to life
I cannot wait to listen to the next book

I need more! please 🙏🏿
Okay, I loved way too much considering the dark stuff that was happening here. But come on, Sadie is hilarious! Yes, I'm aware it's partly because she was broken through abuse that she compartmentalise like a champ! She accepts that she has a murderous voice she's called The Numb in her head. But come on, I roared with laughter when she described how she wished she'd reacted, but instead, her eye twitched, and she farted 🤣
Besides that, we have the alphas and now an omega, and no one will dick her like she wants. Also her description of wanting to be dicked and vagina flapping had me in cracking up. So many times, she had me laughing.
The guys "don't touch her, don't look at her" should have been frustrating... but Sadies reactions smoothed it all out, including her summary of how they are all messed up!!
Spice, some but as frustratingly as Sadie I am sure Sadie is...it is nowhere near enough. But that's all part of the plot, too. And I kind of love it!
But this means books 1 and 2 have been really good. The POV from the MMCs and FMC has me invested in their outcome. The world's they have been in, and now where they are has me expecting some great smut and action. But the comments I've read have me worried about what I'm about to read in book 3....Then again the Aran and Sadie dynamic is just a engaging....I just hope I am not so crushed I go into double withdrawal from badly cut book!

Psychos all around
Sadie is the best!!!! She doesn't give a flying f what people think (kinda) and is filled to the brim with snark and sass, and I just adore her. So many quirky laugh out loud moments in her miserable, but kinda awesome life. This is definitely one of my new fave series and her and Aran are bff goals. I like that the men she's surrounded by are completely bonkers, but that she likes them as they are. I finished the first 5 books, and went right back and started rereading while I'm waiting for book 6 on Christmas Eve. Sorry fam - guess we're reading instead of opening gifts this year!
