Lily Moon, the local miner's daughter, spends her days as a parlour maid for Lord and Lady Bellingham at Oakley Manor, on the outskirts of Nuneaton. She's always been happy with her lot in life, and never expected more.

Fantastic story line
So feely, resonating with every character on so many levels and of course Charlie Sanderson really is the best narrator. I loved her voice of ‘Mery’ thank you I can’t get enough

Fantastic story
Very captivating, characters were brought to life by a great narrator, kept me engaged from the beginning. Rosie Goodwin delivers another outstanding book. I look forward to the next in this series.

Great! Loved Merry !
Great performance - I was a tad hesitant before I purchased this story; because, up until this point I didn’t think I liked Charlie Sanderson (narrator) Her voice in previous recordings seemed juvenile, in the context of sounding young in terms of storytelling. Previous recordings have been iffy, and sounded as though she was just simply reading. But this one won me. I loved the voice of Lily’s grandmother; that was INCREDIBLE! I also loved the character of Merry! I loved this audible

Wonderful Story
I have read many of Rosie Goodwin's books but this book was brilliant. Very hard to say more without spoiling the story but I would highly recommend it.
