Summary

Both Omega Quadrant short stories in one volume...

Unexpected Heat, Omega Quadrant, Book 1.5

Gray and Rohan Parker have been through one hell of a year. A mating that started out with both life and death, they’ve held on tight to one another for months, just trying to survive. Needing some alone time, Rohan plans a lavish vacation to paradise for Gray’s next heat - the honeymoon they weren’t able to take. Now that their twins are 15 months, they hope to finally connect again and share an intimacy they haven’t been able to since the toddlers were made.

But a mix-up with the bags threatens their little piece of paradise and brings up old fears and buried emotions. They face up to the loss, the love, and their future together - and have to decide if they let nature take its course.

This sequel short story follows His Surrogate Omega. It is strongly suggested to listen to that title beforehand to avoid spoilers.

Suddenly His Alpha, Omega Quadrant, Book 1.9

Tulla has spent the last eight years in the Omega Quadrant, trying his damnedest not to get suckered into a mating. He has an independent streak a mile wide, but without many opportunities for omegas, he struggles to forge a path of his own. When his parents put their foot down and demand he attend an Omega Ball and hunt for his alpha, he goes, but under duress.

While there, he runs into an alpha from his past who just might be his future, too.

as great as the ebooks

The story is always 4-5 stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook. I can't listen to an audiobook without knowing the book, that's not possible for me.

The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. It took me a little bit, to come into the narrator, but at the end, it worked. I only have to take a few breaks between. I'm just not yet finish with the book, I’m over the half, but I listen enough to give a review.

PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!

To my ratings:

5* - very very good
it's like an A+

4* - very good and will be often re-listening
it's like an A

3* - it's more then a one-time-listening.
it's like a B

Wonderful, So Sweet & Solo is Marvelous!

The first story was so sweet! We get a bonus peek into Gray and Rohan's life with the twins, plus the have their first vacay as a married couple (with a few surprises!). Definitely need to read His Surrogate Omega first.

Suddenly His Alpha is an nod to Kelex's themes about the lack of Omegas' rights in this society. Thankfully the couple is well matched and it's nice to see them get together - this one's a standalone.

Performed by John Solo who does a splendiferous job with this series!

Amazing short listen!

I love listening to these short stories. It great to spend more time with Rohan and Gray in Unexpected Heat. I love getting a glimpses in their lives and this is such a beautiful sweet short story. Then the second short story is a great to lead right into the next story. With adding more to this world and just makes so I can't wait for the next book. Then of course John Solo does such an amazing job with the narration and i just couldn't get enough of it.

love it

I love this series, and I'm glad for this. I'm glad the senior put 2 shorts together, iit gives the reader a better deal as well as both a new story with better understanding of this world and a continuation of another story which gently brings us back into the world. I'm still emotional over the surrogate omega book, I greatly enjoyed this book, and I cannot wait for the next book to come out. As always, John solo did a great job and I highly recommend this entire series.
