About this listen
From Lambda Literary Award-winning author Felice Stevens comes a sexy paranormal stand-alone romance.
A vampire who’s lost everything meets a man who has nothing to lose.
For centuries, Massimo D’Alba, banished prince of the Fold, has wandered through life frozen in darkness and pain. Betrayed by his younger, power-hungry brother, he’s existed for centuries but not lived. A rain-soaked night brings smart-mouthed New Yorker Damion Avery to his doorstep, and suddenly he’s riding spin bikes, shopping for yoga pants, eating ice cream…and falling in love.
Damion Avery can’t figure out why Prince Tall, Dark, and Incredibly Sexy wants him as his personal assistant, but he’s not going to second-guess his good luck. Even though he has to work all night and sleep during the day, the job is too good to be true. But where does Massimo sneak off to in the dead of night? Is he a spy, an assassin, or something else? And what’s with those glowing purple eyes? Damion knows he shouldn’t fall for his boss. But Damion was never one to follow the rules.
When duty calls him home, Massimo must return to save his kingdom, forcing a life-changing decision: leave Damion behind forever, or reveal his deepest, darkest secret to the man who has become his everything, who owns a part of Massimo he’d thought gone forever…his heart.

Amazing story with great main characters.
What a captivating story! Kale Williams did a fantastic job giving life to the characters, using different voices. It felt so real, like I was experiencing everything in person. Wow!

A lovely vampire story.
Felice Stevens is in my almost-automatic 5-stars-review category, as I love her writing style, and her stories are always so full of feelings and so meaningful I cannot help but fall in love with her characters.
Though PNR is not her usual cup of tea, she managed to transport her wonderful style in this vampire romance. I loved Massimo, though he made me roll my eyes sometimes , and especially Damion, the stubborn, resilient human who manages to upend the vampire’s super controlled life!

Loved it!
I really enjoyed the book. The story was very interesting and the narrator was great with the various voices and accents. This is the first vampire book that I've listened to/read. I almost didn't purchase the book but I am glad that I did.

An adorable vampire story
Felice Stevens is one of those authors that I look forward to when there is a new book or even better a new audiobook. I love her wonderful writing style and she has the ability to draw her characters in such a way that you automatically fall in love with them.
Night Prince was by far the best vampire story I have read in recent years. My heart bled for the exiled vampire prince Massimo, who will be on his own in the future and will have to find his way around. But Damion is also a protagonist you fall in love with from the beginning. He has to deal with adverse living conditions when he makes an encounter in the pouring rain that will change his life.
I loved the story of Massiomo and Damion. Well, Massimo may be a bit stubborn, but I loved watching Damion slowly break through Massimo's walls. The plot was interesting and kept me captivated.
Felice Stevens wrote the story very emotionally and heartbreakingly. I'm not one to be close to water, but there were one or two parts where even I had tears in my eyes.
The narrator, Kale Williams, absolutely rocked the audiobook. The story itself is already worth its 5 stars, but with Kale Williams as the narrator, I would gladly give it an extra star. I loved how he gave different voices and accents to the characters and how well he was able to express their emotions. He was a perfect choice for Night Prince.
There are very few audiobooks that I listen to a second time, but this is definitely one of them.

Abysmal
🎧 Kale Williams is blessed with a dulcet voice that typically radiates maturity, intelligence and gravitas. However, Kale needs material that plays to his skills set: the Night Prince was not it. Credit to the narrator who did his best with the cheesiness, info dumps and the one foreign word 'mio'.
📚 The characterisations had a centuries old vampire written as tongue tied with his employee and Damion was written as simplistic if not an outright himbo. Then fate and destiny were lazy substitutes for emotional development and plot while the fantasy | paranormal elements was For Dummies. Invest your credit in better books because Night Prince succeeds in getting everything wrong.
