About this listen
When one night of passion becomes something neither of them could have ever predicted...
Ivy Greene is a strong, confident single mother who, honestly, doesn’t need any help. She’s got this. All except for one thing. Her five-year-old son Lincoln has a terrible secret that she’s determined to keep until the day she dies. She’d do anything for her son. Including traveling to Spokane to search for more information about people like her son.
While she’s there, she crosses paths with someone who was supposed to be a one-night stand. Little does she know that he’s playing for keeps.
Maxim Malashovik is the oldest of four boys. He’s fun-loving, kind, thoughtful, and, oh yeah, a bear shifter. There’s nothing he wouldn’t do for the people he loves. And suddenly, inexplicably, he finds he has to add a person to that list, after just one night with her.
Why couldn’t he have fallen for somebody who wanted him back? Or even left her number after their one-night stand.
This is the third book in The Secret Shifters of Spokane series, but can also be listened to as a stand-alone. No cliff-hangers.
Please note: The story contains strong sexual themes/language and is not intended for listeners under the age of 18.

The Perfect Hero!
Maxim's Mate is an excellent addition to the Secret Shifters of Spokane series. Selena Scott has created an appealing paranormal world with charming characters. Maxim and Ivy are fabulous together, and their chemistry is off the charts.
Outstanding narration by Craig A. Hart. He does a splendid job portraying the characters' personalities and emotions, bringing them to life. This was a highly entertaining listen and, I strongly recommend it. I was given a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.

Maxim and Ivy
This is the third book in a series I previously read but which I am enjoying listening to. Although all the stories are standalone I would recommend listening to them in order.
The last thing Ivy Greene wants is a long-term relationship. She's been hurt before and has one goal in life to protect herself and her son from further pain after being betrayed by her son's father. So when she meets Maxim at a bar she doesn't want anything but a few hours of his company. Maxim, however, recognizes that Ivy is his Mate, the only one for him. But Ivy doesn't make it easy for him as she slips away whilst he's sleeping.
For six months, Max has thought about Ivy and how he might find her again but then fate came to his aid, he's a firefighter and he and his crew responded to a traffic accident where they rescued Ivy and Linc her 5-year-old. But again she slipped away, but this time she and Linc came back to thank Max for saving their lives.
Ivy has a secret one she doesn't want to share but when Maxim helps Linc he comes closer to winning her heart. When he helps a second time, she decides to give them a chance and try for more. But when they are kidnapped by Navuka, Maxim enlists the aid of his whole family to try to save them but will he be in time?
The narration of this book by Craig A. Hart is well done and certainly added to my enjoyment of this story.
I was given this audiobook as a gift and am voluntarily writing my review.

Terrific Story & Listen🎧 I’m Loving These Shifters
I am loving this series, the storylines and characters are awesome. Selena Scott’s writing is perfection, the story flows naturally, they grab your attention right from the start and holds it straight to the end. The characters are likable and easy to relate to. This third book of the series is Maxim story, he the eldest Malsahovik son, also a swoon worthy alpha bear shifter, one with big heart. He is a firefighter and is a hit with the ladies. But there is one girl that he can not get off of his mind, the one that got away. That is until he sees her again while on a call for an accident. Ivy Greene, a single mother of a young boy, a boy she will do anything for, which including trying to find information and help for her son’s condition. Maxim arrives on the scene of the accident to find the woman who had been occupying her mind, he rescues her son and gets them both to safety. I adored her son Linc, also adored how Maxim and his family was with him. It took Ivy awhile but she finally got with the program, that Maxim was her and she was his. The Navuka storyline continues in this book bringing in more drama, action and thrilling and suspenseful moments, more info is revealed about what they are up to and what they want and who is behind it. Once again the Malsahovik brothers come to the rescue. I loved how everything plays out in this book, there is never a dull moment, in addition to the the Navuka drama there is some relationship drama, angst, heartfelt moments and another great romance. Selena Scott, thank you for another awesome story and emotional rollercoaster ride.
Craig A. Hart is a fabulous narrator and voice artist. He brings the characters to life, giving each their own voice and personality, which makes it easy to follow the story. You could hear how much heart he puts into his work as he humanizes the characters and captures their emotions which is reflected and heard in his performance. He is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another terrific listen🎧

Maxim's turn
I requested this book in exchange for an honest review. This book, just like the others in this series, takes you on a wonderful journey of family, new love, and loyalty. Maxim is the eldest brother and he is strong, loyal to a fault, passionate, and sensitive. He freely speaks his mind. He meets Ivy, a strong independent woman with a secret and have a one night stand. She disappears after and they meet again 6 months later when her car crashes and the adventure begins. This book had me laughing, shaking my head in agreement, and feeling different emotions. And all of the characters, the family, were so different that it just meshed. I have read the 1st 2 books with Danil and Pandora, Emin and Glory, and now this book and I just can't wait to hear about Anton's story because I am truly invested in this family. You should listen to the books in order to get the true picture about what is happening and why. The narrator makes the story come alive and I am amazed that he is able to do all the voices and make it believable.
