Summary
Welcome to Sleepy Hollow University, where the students are supernaturals and danger lurks behind every smile and corner....
Life as a young witch isn’t easy, especially when the rest of your family is human.
Sleepy Hollow University is the place I can learn to control my powers and be among other supernaturals.
But academic competition isn’t the only kind I face.
With a fae, a vampire, a shifter, and a warlock who should be my enemy all vying for my attention, it’s hard to keep my head on academics.
I’m as inexperienced with matters of the heart as I am with magic.
And when one of my suitors is accused of murder, being afraid of what goes bump in the night takes on a whole new meaning.
Magic and Misconduct is the first book in a university-age paranormal academy series, the Sleepy Hollow Academy series. It includes a strong heroine, four men of mystical backgrounds, mystery, romance, passion, and suspense with elements of paranormal, sci-fi, and fantasy.

Great story 📖
Ok so there are a lot of positives to this book, the innocence of the characters was refreshing, the storyline was 90% positive which was lovely, the storyline has a lot of potential, the only negative and this is down to personal preference, but I really dont like male narrators doing female voices, the narrator had a lovely voice but I just dont like male doing female voices, having said that, the story was good enough for me to continue listening. I would recommend this book and I hope the second book is just as good.

Pretty cool
I though it was pretty cool all the different types of paranormal. The heroine was so accepting of everyone and I really loved the storyline. Very unique and pretty cool. The guys were pretty yummy and I liked the bit of intrigue going on. Look forward to book 2 and reading more by this author! The narrator did a great job bringing this story to life.

Entertaining
This book sounded great from reading the blurb, but it a very slow build up, the heroine seemed very naive and the romance was on the tame side. However I do think its a great premise, and has the potential to be a fantastic series, I wasn't too keen on the narrator Chase Ripley, he has a nice voice, but I don't feel it fit the book very well. I'd definately be interested in reading the second book in the series.

A new start at any place could be nerve wracking
Yes, a new school, for a young woman from a small town, who has finally gotten her dream: to attend a college that was shifter oriented.
Not only were the new classes different and daunting, but the attraction between her and a number of young men, well, that was something this young lady had never experienced.
However, there is something sinister lurking around campus, that is putting them all at risk.
It is a cliffhanger, so be prepared to be left wondering, until you read the next in the series.

Zara Zenia fan
Honestly as a big Zara Zenia fan I was very much looking forward to this audiobook. As the book is from the point of view of a young woman I was a little surprised with the choice of narrator, but decided to go for it anyway. Chase Ripley is a great narrator and his performance was great as well.....but I just couldn't get into it. After giving it several tries, I just couldn't get the mental picture I was looking for due to the odd mix of voice and point of view. I had to give up and i'll just have to give it a read. That being said...again Chase is an excellent narrator but he just wasn't right for the part in my opinion.

Really great!
Another new classic from Zara Zenia! A more adult and grounded Harry Potter style romance. Takes a bit to pick up but really takes off when it does. Narrator did a great job bringing all the characters to life.

Great story with a naive main character
This book was okay. I really enjoyed the storyline and the world itself. My issue was with Marina, the main character. The blurb said she was suppose to be a strong character and I just didn't see that. She was extremely naive to the point it was almost unbelievable that someone could be that naive. She also thinks she's great at magic when really her magic causes an insane amount of damage. It annoyed me that she wanted to go back and try to help the city she ruined in the beginning. She does get better toward the end but I had a hard time liking her. Now the guys I really like. I think I might have put the book down if not for them. I really hope that Marina continues to mature in the next book because I really want to see where the story goes.

Magic-ificant!
Zara Zenia doesn’t disappoint!! She has a fantastic imagination, I don’t know how she comes up with her books but damn that’s always good. I love her writing style. It’s always a pleasure to read/listen too and get lost in her books.
The narrator is has a pleasant voice and helps bring the story to life. The narrator does a great job with making it easy to distinguish between the characters.
I definitely recommend this book!

It was good
I enjoyed this story but I don’t know it didn’t really captivate me as much as I thought it would. Anyways, I wouldn’t mind listening to it again but this is my rating for now but if I do listen to it again my rate my change. Narrator did a great job with bringing the characters to life and with perfect pace.
