Especially when you’ve signed a contract stating that the two of you will not, under any circumstances, have romantic relations while filming. Leanne Simmons and Callum Davidson never had an easy relationship. From enemies to lovers and back to enemies, they’ve been on again/off again for years. Things come to a head when Callum gets into an altercation with a rival for Leanne’s affections. Donovan and I met at a coffee shop to do the suitcase exchange. Turned out, it wasn’t just his voice that was sexy. The man holding my luggage was absolutely gorgeous, and we had an immediate spark. He got me to admit that I’d snooped in his bag and then convinced me to make it up to him by letting him buy me coffee. Coffee led to dinner, dinner led to dessert, and dessert led to spending an entire weekend together. So what did I do to repay him for his kindness? I waited until he was in the shower, then ghosted him.

Kaitlyn Parker has no problem being the invisible girl, which is why she finds herself hiding in various cabinets and closets all over her college campus. Despite her best efforts, she can’t escape the notice of Martin Sandeke - bad boy, jerkface bully, and the universe’s hottest, wealthiest, and most unobtainable bachelor - who also happens to be Kaitlyn’s chemistry lab partner. Kaitlyn might be the only girl who isn’t interested in exploiting his stunning rower’s build, chiseled features, and family's billionaire fortune.
Summary
Being an avid online gamer, Afric O’ Connor loves a challenge. Helping Neil Durant reveal himself to the girl he’s been catfishing makes for the perfect sidequest. Besides, it’s not like she isn’t getting something in return. Neil has a head for numbers, and Afric’s finances are a mess. It’s the perfect exchange. She assists him with his love life, and he sorts out her accounts.
As they spend more time together, the arrangement becomes less simple. Afric soon realizes that the girl Neil’s been trying so hard to win over might not deserve him. And the buttoned-up, bespectacled personal assistant she once considered a sidequest has somehow become her main objective.

I love this story
I have a passion for enemies to lovers and I love this story. It’s more like a slow burn with scorching attraction and a couple going from enemies to best friends. But something special is brewing under the surface.
Afric is so outspoken and unapologetic it’s a blast. She left a shocking first impression on poor stuck up Neil. A gamer with expensive taste in clothing and no economic sense. They probably wouldn’t have met again if they didn’t have a mutual friend. He’s a very organized guy and so prim and proper.
As it turns out they both are in need of a favor and slowly grow close and start getting feelings for each other. In some ways they are perfect for each other. The way they bring out the best in each other, support and defend is perfection. I devoured this book and now I want more. The narrators are doing a wonderful job, and I could listen to them all day and all night for the rest of my life. It's like velvet in my ear.

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this audio. I loved the story when I read it on Kindle in the summer, and I loved the performances by Will and KC. I thought they brought the characters to life brilliantly and had me chuckling often. Both narrators' voices really fit how I thought the characters would sound - larger-than-life Afric and uptight, earnest Neil. So good!!
This story was sweet, funny, sexy and heart-melting!

So good!
Afric and Neil are complete opposites. She is a quirky, free spirited gamer, and he is a straight laced assistant. But they say opposites attract for a reason!! I loved every second of their journey and it was so great to see their relationship develop and evolve into something neither of them expected. Sidequest For Love is a sweet, funny romance, with just the right amount of heat, I really couldn't have asked for more!

5 Stars!!
Narrators: Will M Watt & K.C. Sheridan
***5 Stars***
Having already loved the print version of Afric and Neil’s journey to their HEA, it was a no brainer to take a go at the audio version, though, I will admit that there was a moment of wariness since a narrator, or in this case, narrators, can make or break a book ~ no matter if it was already love.
But the wariness was quickly washed away as the first sentence was read. The accents definitely helped with my enjoyment of the story, I mean how could it not? But more than that, both narrators became Afric and Neil, along with the various characters that inhabit their world. They both brought out Afric’s aggressive yet playful nature and Neil’s more cautious and deliberate one. And experiencing their slow burn romance come to life was a lot of fun!
My Book Review
***5 Stars***
After meeting Afric in Something in the Air, I knew I wanted to know more about the gamer girl and was very happy when the author decided to release chapters of Afric and Neil’s journey in her newsletter. But I was ecstatic when the announcement of their book happened, and I was not disappointed. This was a great opposites attract slow burn read. It was funny, sweet, heart warming, frustrating and all kinds of hawt, with just enough drama to keep me turning the pages until the very end.
I adored Neil and Afric. I’ll admit that I was all too sure how much I would like Neil because he tends to be a bit stiff and controlled with his emotions and how he perceives the world but getting to find out the why behind his actions and thoughts had me loving the man. Afric has no edit button. She lets her personality shine, even when it may come across as abrasive to others, but I loved how well she knew herself and owned it all.
With their personalities at opposite ends of the spectrum, it wasn’t a surprise that their relationship started off on the wrong foot, but I thoroughly enjoyed watching as they slowly became friends and so much more. Their bantering was a lot of fun and I just really liked how they they ended up finding comfort and strength in each other.
This really was a fun read. I loved getting to catch up with the Running on Air crew and seeing them through Neil’s eyes. As for the catfishing situation...I liked how it didn’t overtake Neil and Afric’s journey, but instead helped push their relationship along. And as for the new characters we meet, I loved Rosie and Phil and hope to see them again in some capacity as well as Adam and Winona, and of course there is Isaac, who I am hoping will get his own HEA at some point down the road. But all in all, if you like opposites attract romances, then pick this baby up!

Quirky romance + fab narrators = an awesome audio
When it comes to originality and creativity, L.H. Cosway is one of those authors who has yet to let me down. (Knock on wood!) While I've had the pleasure to read some of her books, I hadn't listened to any of her audiobooks. Until now. I enjoyed the heck out of Sidequest for Love, but listening to it with Will M. Watt and K.C. Sheridan narrating was a whole new experience that I couldn't get enough of. Afric and Neil were this unlikely couple who went from not having the best first impression of each other to actually becoming good friends and then much more. Listening to their story provided hours of entertainment and endeared these two to me all over again. Watt and Sheridan were the perfect pair to bring Cosway's wonderful romance to life. Five stars!

Get ready to fall in love with quirky Afric & Neil
5-Star. Cosway does it again with original story lines and characters you fall in love with! Afric and Neil’s love story was quirky and romantic! I love getting lost in a good book! Loved it! When I enjoy a book as much as I enjoyed Sidequest for Love, I love to indulge in the Audio version, too. Audio for this book is amazing! Afric and Neil come alive with the narration and it's so fun to join them on their quirky journey to find love! I can almost picture Afric and Neil and I found myself thinking about what listened to long after it was over. They had faults, but they were strong characters who seemed so real and kind.

Amazing!
Sidequest for Love is such a great opposites attract read. Will M. Watt and K.C. Sheridan take this already fantastic book to a whole new level. I found myself literally smiling while listening. Neil and Afric have amazing chemistry, there's witty banter and so many feels. The pacing and the slow build of their relationship were perfection. I adore Afric and all of her quirks, she felt so real. I also love that it's a spinoff so we get to spend time with the Running On Air characters and see what they've been up to as well. Read this! Even if you haven't read the Running On Air series yet (what have you been doing with your life?), you'll have no problem following Neil and Afric's story, and it'll leave you with the warm fuzzies.

Fabulous Narration with a Sweet Love Story
LH Cosway always writes the most interesting characters. This is a spin off story from her Running on Air series (fabulous) about a Parkour team This is a story about two people who dislike each other at first, complete opposites that slowly develop feelings for each other.
I've already read this book but always but the audio too. I loved the narrator's, a duel cast was perfect for this. Check it out you'll be so happy you did.

I adored this story! Neil and Afric were amazing characters, and watching them grow and seeing their relationship slowly blossom into more was beautiful.
I love how LH Cosway always writes unique and quirky characters. I find them so fascinating. And the problems the characters face are always unique too.
This story was no different. Afric and Neil were complex characters and they felt so real to me while I was listening to their story. And the chemistry was searing hot and sexy. It was fabulous!
The narration was great. I enjoyed the dual POV and male/female narrators. They really added depth and uniqueness to the story and I found their voices, cadence and delivery to be perfect.

A great audiobook!
Another wonderful story from L.H. Cosway! I absolutely loved this charming and fun romance.
Afric and Neil start out with an agreement to help each other. She needs help with her finances and he needs help with the girl he wants to win over. What should be simple becomes a lot more when feelings get involved. I loved the relationship development, banter, and plot pacing. This is one of my favorite books from L.H. Cosway yet!
This is a spin-off of the Running on Air series but can be read as a standalone. I love that series, too, though, and can't recommend it enough!
A great story and wonderful narration make this one of my favorite audiobooks this year.

I read Sidequest for Love first and I loved it. The audible just made me love it more. The narrators for Alfric and Neil were and are perfect.

A fun, sweet read
A slow burn, enemies (ish) to friends, to lovers (I hope) romance. It’s also a case of opposites most definitely attract, even if they didn’t quite hit it off on their first meeting, Afric and Neil have a certain pull to each other, no matter how much they’d deny it if asked. Afric is a professional gamer, streaming live to thousands of fans. Neil is one of two personal assistants to non other than, wait for it, our wonderful reality TV stars from the Running on Air series. Yay! Neil though is nothing like any of them. Neil lacks confidence and charisma (at least he thinks he does), he likes order in his work life and his personal life. Maybe that’s how come he forms a friendship with Afric, seeing as though he’s got himself in a bit of a pickle, who better to help him out, than the Queen of chaos herself. Afric is definitely up to the challenge. Such a sweet, fun read, and a definite slow burn. It’s the full package. Great characters, great story and great writing. The audio version worked so well, Will Watt is always a pleasure to listen to and he was perfect for the role of Neil. I’m not too familiar with KC Sheridan, but her performance as Afric was spot on. A story that definitely lends itself to audio. I loved it.
